I have all if them, doubles of all the protectors, several dozen of the orange Tahu masks and a few score of the clear ones. Plus just a bunch if random parts from NYCC and whatnot. I really love the CCBS system and the new parts are all amazing.

I have all SIx Toa. POF and POS and LOSS. I don't plan on getting any of the other protectors unless I get them as gifts.

As for Summer Sets. I'm getting Mask Maker Vs Skull Grinder, Skull Warrior and Skull Scorpio (I have mods in the works that will make it so much better)

Buying mine in waves, next and final winter wave will be Kopaka and final 3 protectors.

Now I'd like to know if I'm the only one that only concerns myself with Bionicle and strictly Bionicle. I miss the YouTube community...

Only buying BIONICLE? Usually it's all I budget myself for, but if there's another set that catches my eye, I won't say no out of hand. I'll certainly be going for the Vader set this year, and Greivous if he looks good.

I miss the YouTube community...

There's a phrase I never thought I'd see.

I have all the sets. Once summer rolls around, Skull Grinder will be a day one purchase. After that, it'll be Basher. The rest I haven't decided, but I'll be sure to pick them up eventually.

I have all the sets as well. Planning on picking up a second PoW and/or another Gali for a special MOC I'm working on.

When the summer rolls around, I'm getting every one of the Skull Villains day-1 if possible.

I *almost* only buy BIONICLE: the only other line I collect is LEGO Star Wars. As a matter of fact, I don't even invest myself in any other fandom other than Star Wars and BIONICLE....

I got all 6 Toa and I'm debating whether or not I should get the Protectors and LOSS. I'm way behind on the Super Heroes sets that I usually collect around their time of release but since this was Bionicle, I decided to make an exception for nostalgia  .

If you had asked me this 8-10 years ago, I would have said I only concern myself with Bionicle. I got into it seriously in 2005, and haven't missed buying many constraction sets since (I believe I only missed Irnakk and Kardas, but I BL'ed the latter some time ago). Nowadays, my commitment to themes is very extended, but Bionicle will always be the thing I aim to get all the sets to first.

If it matters, I also commit myself to collecting Chima, Ninjago, Jurassic World, Mixels, bigfigs, moulded animals, some Star Wars, Speed Champions, dragons, anything CCBS... too much basically :look:

I have all six Toa and Protectors, along with doubles of Tahu, Gali and PoS, and also the Hero Pack. I have no want or need for LOSS.

In regards to other themes? It really depends. I do want to get the ship from Elves and a couple of other Speed Champions sets though. But anything CCBS has appeal to me.

I have all (Hero Pack included) but LoSS. Plan to get him for the sake of eventually upgrading Skull Grinder, who will probably be the only summer set I buy. Would be interested in more than just him but I've got other LEGO projects that demand my money first.

When the summer sets come out, the only ones I'm planning to get are: Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder (Only for Ekimu) and Skull Slicer (yes, I actually like the the set :classic: ).

When the Star Wars CCBS sets come out, I'm only going to buy Grievous, depending on how he looks.

Just found

hidden away on Lego's youtube channel.

Wow! That sounds like a cool contest! As someone who loves finding faces in objects, this is right up my alley.

Posted (edited)

Great. A contest I have no way to enter in (no camera on my phone, a really fragile camera, and the only mask-like pattern in my house is difficult to see even if outlined). Oh well, might as well see if I can find something anyway; complaining about it won't get me anywhere.

Wait...I don't get it. Are we supposed to take photos of the Toa's elements, or those specific faces with the color of said elements shown in the video??

For somebody who doesn't like to play YouTube videos (for the pitiful broadband allowance I have anyway, most of it is quickly taken up by program and picture downloads), would somebody please explain what the contest is (or the content of the video in words)? From what I've read, sounds like you have to take pictures of mask-like shapes in objects or something like that? I'm guessing you have to have an account on Facebook or Twitter or something like that in order to enter, in which case count me out, but still I'm genuinely curious. Doesn't sound like anything I was expecting, and whatever it is, kudos to LEGO for coming up with something that isn't just "like this page to enter" (or retweet or whatever)

Yeah, you've pretty much got it. You take pictures of stuff you see in everyday life that looks like a face, and associate it with a specific element. Then you upload the picture to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with #BionicleMaskHunt and you've entered.

The Facebook page has the rules.

So, long story short, you find a mask/face-like image in an object, take a picture of it, and submit it to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

The catch seems to be that it needs to correspond to one of the six elements... But judging by the video, that can be something as simple as color.

And there's no limit to how many pictures we can take. That's always cool.

Definitely be entering this one. Of course, now that I'm on the lookout, I won't find anything. :P

I wonder if I can build a face out of random stones and say it's associated with Pohatu, lol.

Or you could draw some random lines in the dirt and say it's Onua's mask. Too bad that none of the masks have specific names. It makes it really hard to refer to one of them specifically. Edited by DraikNova
