TheOneVeyronian Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I have hard time figuring out the combiner, could someone provide scan of the back of the box? It's not like we'll have to wait for the instructions for a month possibly. *snip* Will these high quality scans of the two combos help? These are from the instruction manual and are likely the best pictures you'll see of them for a while 70791, 70792 and 70793 combo, 70794 and 70795 combo Quote

Toa Eljay Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 So, I've got no way to verify this, but according to a commenter on the latest TTV Podcast episode, the new wave has hit France. Quote
Scarilian Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Will the Summer sets be on UK Amazon soon, seeing as they're showing up in a few stores? I don't like going outside of my mancave... The sun burns. Scorpio and Slicer are already on Amazon for £12.99 each - though despite the link to them showing the official image the actual product pages display the leaked version. Either way they seem legitimate, but the other sets appear to be missing from Amazon - guessing Lego accidentally put these up and realised their mistake which stopped them adding the rest till a later date. I know there was one other site that i saw which had them for pre-order in the UK with a projected release of the 23rd... though have been unable to track that down for you. Quote

LegendsOfNinjago Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 could someone post a picture of the Mask that comes with the book? My tablet won't allow me to check open the links. Quote

No need to post, it's Ekimu's protector mask. Also, I didn't notice it before but in those scans the "bonkle satan" has pincer function on his staff. Damn. Quote
Shakar Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) I can confirm, I've just called my Legostore (Lille, North of France), and they have the sets in stock. Has that ever happened in France? It's not one of those countries that get sets early, as far as I know. This is reminiscient of when the Chima Ultrabuilds would hit European stores in June (IIRC the 3 Marvel Ultrabuilds in 2012 did too). Maybe that goes for BIONICLE this year, while the SW Ultrabuilds arrive in August/September (like HF did in the past years)?Maybe I should check the stores here, though it seems too good to be true. Kalhiki Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Those combiners are sweet. The Grinder/Scorpio combo is awesome. Don't know if I'll ever get around to building them, but I hope someone posts pictures, at least. Quote
VBBN Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 So is anyone else looking at those new "torn cloth" armor add-ons as an excellent helmet...didn't really see it until those combiner scans. Quote

Can kind of see it. Though will probably experiment with this piece as i feel it could be used as a nice gauntlet Quote
Leewan Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Has that ever happened in France? It's not one of those countries that get sets early, as far as I know. Haha, absolutely, we don't usually get the sets in advance. Sometimes, though, they put some sets on shelves a few days before the official release date, but I've never seen or heard of any set being sold in a Lego Store six weeks before the release date. Anyways, good luck Shakar, although I fear they're only available in official Lego Stores for now. Quote
Kalhiki Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Figure I should ask: has anyone in the US found the sets? Quote

Anyways, good luck Shakar, although I fear they're only available in official Lego Stores for now. France, as far as I know, gets the sets around the same time of most other European countries except special cases like Germany. So, at least in theory, the sets should be available over here as well. Thanks! There is a Lego Store close to me, it's technically unofficial but it seems linked to Lego and gets some exclusive stuff (keychains, pens, etc) so it's a bit hard to tell. I know they got the new Airjitzu sets, but the Fire vs Ice Chima Speedorz last year came out during this time (along with the Ultrabuilds) so not sure if it means anything. I guess I'll take a look during the next 1-2 weeks, I'm currently swamped with exams. I know there are a few Italian BIONICLE fans here, maybe they can check? So is anyone else looking at those new "torn cloth" armor add-ons as an excellent helmet...didn't really see it until those combiner scans. Not as helmets, but I'm definitely eager to try using those pieces in ways the official sets don't, such as chest armour.EDIT 2: Found this. Seems to confirm a September date here, though these aren't always accurate (back in December, some sites listed the Winter Wave due to February or even March). Still, at least the European prices should be official- 30 Euro for MM vs SG, so no markups like with Queen Beast. Edited June 16, 2015 by Shakar Quote
TheDesuComplex Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Figure I should ask: has anyone in the US found the sets? I doubt they will be put out so early in the US. I do like the idea that they pushed the release forward to allow time for the Star Wars sets, so I am betting that the US will be an earlier than usual release as well, perhaps with sets starting to pop up near the latter part of June or early July. Clone 01354 Productions Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Figure I should ask: has anyone in the US found the sets? Here in AZ, I didn't see any. HOWEVER, when I asked an employee of the LEGO Store, he informed me that they would be released next month. Which seems odd, since I thought the confirmed date was August.......I'm so confused. Quote
ToaDraco Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) Can kind of see it. Though will probably experiment with this piece as i feel it could be used as a nice gauntlet Now I want to use this piece as a gauntlet for a moc of War from Darksiders! These combiners look amazing and I hope they are featured in story. They are very well designed and it makes me hope that we get titan sets in the future. Edited June 17, 2015 by ToaDraco Quote
Logan McOwen Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) how in the world is that torn cloth why would torn cloth flow upwards and be a metallic colour Ahem. Yeah, these combiners are wicked cool. Loving the SGvMM+SS one more than the other though, much more cohesive. Edited June 17, 2015 by LewiMOC Quote
Shakar Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I think people got the torn cloth thing from Huw's first report on Toy Fair and it stuck. Sure doesn't look like cloth to me, more like ancient, battle-worn armour. Quote
Logan McOwen Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Which is exactly what it is, surely? Haha :P Quote
Kalhiki Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I'm more inclined to call it 'torn armor' than 'torn cloth.' Or Skull Villain armor since they're the first to use it. Here in AZ, I didn't see any. HOWEVER, when I asked an employee of the LEGO Store, he informed me that they would be released next month. Which seems odd, since I thought the confirmed date was August.......I'm so confused. That's good to here. Always happy when they come out sooner than expected. Quote
Scarilian Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Gotcha for some reason when every one was talking abut it I thought I was a solid gold color. Some speculated briefly that because the version shown on the activity book looked slightly more gold than the close-up version that it may have been a solid gold coloured mask. I think people got the torn cloth thing from Huw's first report on Toy Fair and it stuck. Sure doesn't look like cloth to me, more like ancient, battle-worn armour. Same here, i viewed it as very old armour that had been worn down by battle. Definitely would'nt call it torn cloth but can understand how the original toy fair reports got that idea. Quote
