Posted December 26, 201410 yr I recently competed in a seed part challenge called Duel of Pirates on the french forum brickpirate.net. The seed part was a modified 1x2 plate with ladder in dark tan I had two ideas for the part that both fit in a Japanese setting, but in different scale, so I went with a bit of forced perspective on this one. December 26, 201410 yr Nice work. the distant structure is a nice detail. I also really like the inverted ladder peices for the bridge. I may have to use that
December 28, 201410 yr Wonderful work The techniques, the forced perspektive, the bridge.....everything looks awesome.
December 28, 201410 yr Forced perspective and trees are very good - also innovative to use those "stairs" for the bridge.
December 29, 201410 yr Wow! What is not to like! The bridge railings, many trees and bushes, stairs, temple at the top, and so on. A fantastic build that really catches your eye. Way to go!
December 29, 201410 yr AWESOME and wonderful design....I really like the bridge design, Brick On 'Cecilie' !
December 29, 201410 yr Author Thanks everyone for the nice comments And thank you Ecclesiastes for the frontpage
December 29, 201410 yr You have done it again Cecilie! Never disappoints and clever use of the latter, had to re-read it and look at the photo again to find the latter - very ccreative use of them.
December 30, 201410 yr LEGO Universe...? Is that you? All joking about old concept art for beloved, dearly-missed discontinued MMOs aside ( ), this is a really fantastic model. The forced perspective is great, the colors are stunningly vibrant, and the ladder is VERY creatively used in both portions of the model. Very well done.
December 30, 201410 yr I really like the red tree on the left! The ladders used for the bridge looking good fot the japanese style!
December 30, 201410 yr Gorgeous. The perspective is interesting. Also, I like the way you made the handrail of the bridge.
January 1, 201510 yr Awesome work with the perspective! Great to see some asian inspired Mocs lately.
January 13, 201510 yr Author I absolutely love it Cecilie! Small enough to bring to Chicago... It's not built to be viewed in person It really only works at this angle
