Yes, this is utter madness! I suspect that it's someone trying to seek attention. Whoever runs it is clearly just trying to remind us how expensive it is to run, and no doubt tomorow/ monday will announce we need to pay for a new server. Or something silly like that. Still, MOCpages.com will now be useless... as all the files to a great extent were streamed from there. It's mentioned on Lugnet too that Brickshelf has fallen, only with disparaging remarks about how we should all be using flickr, and how Brickshelf was rubbish since the 90s... and other such similar rubbish. But yeah, if any people in the worldwide lego community are around, and have an idea as to what's going on, this is vital to solve! And yes, if necessary, I will pay to keep Brickshef alive.

(NB, I notice that the affiliated site, maj.com, is alive and well. Why is this, and yet the Lego related pics are gone. Surely, praying, it's just a publicity stunt?!)

I know maj.com, but what is the point of that site, it is not lego. Is it like google or something with random pics?

There seem to be several topics to this. Although I can see why. It's a darn shame. :'-( :-(

Yep, maj.com was set up about 2-3 years ago I think, to take the pressure off Brickshelf and show ordinary photos, of anything. Right... doing some digging for this Kevin Loch fellow who hosts/ runs Brickshelf. It appears he has a youtube account. I don't, so can't send a message to him. But, worth a try from anyone else.... (He last logged in it says 1 week ago)
