Athough most Elves are experts on making mead themselves, Fridolin the Mountain Elve had taken a liking to Erlingur's stuff. Nothing could ever compare to it! So every now and then he visited his friend at this house in the Heavenly Mountains and bought a few kegs to store up his supplies. Fortunately his horse knew the way home on his own ...

Woah, a very pretty build kabel! The vegetation is excellent here, especially those clever birch trees (one of my favorite trees, though there are none where I live). The wooden bridge looks fantastic and adds so much vibrancy to this scene. I like the rockwork too, simple but elegant - a perfect example of how great studs-up rockwork can look!

Glad to see the mead series continue, though now I'm really thirsty! I'm jealous of the cart-driver who seems to be making the ride go quicker by sampling his product!

Well thanks guys, glad you like it. Funny how the mead got me out of my builders block ...

@ME: yeah those birches, plenty of them in the forests around here, foresters even call them the weed of the forest.

Lovely build! I really like the way you did the harness/yolk for the horse- NPU with the clips and lances!

So... does the horse know the route well enough that the driver doesn't need any control and can just drink the merchandise the whole way?

Such a great, serine MOC. I like the bridge a lot and the foliage is dense without being overbearing. I do think, however, that there sure is a whole bunch of reddish-brown going on with the bridge, cart, and barrels. Old brown wheels and dark tan for the cart might have improved the color blocking to borrow a spacers' typical term.

Your mead builds have inspired me to do a beekeeping MOC for CCC that I'll upload tomorrow! This series is great and I hope it continues.

Lovely landscaping and overall feeling of the build! I really love those birch trees :classic:

The bridge and the wagon are however a at tad too similar in color for my taste, making either one of those (or at least the fence) would have made the wagon pop out more imho.

Thanks mates, glad you guys like my little series and I definetely a few more ideas up the sleeves!

@sk: I'm really getting into mountainous mocs these days, a building a bridge across a gorge is something I've wanted to do for a while now.

@mr+gid: you guys are absolutely right about the brown. Things is, I'm out of dark brown and dark tan.
