My little brother and I grew up as fanatics;

He moved on to anime and as-built models

My girlfriend and i are quite into lego.

So hopefully it'll stay with us!

My son, his wife and me build something each Christmas while dinner is being prepared, but as far as I know that is the only time they build, but they do look forward to the Christmas build.

That is an awesome holiday tradition. My mother and I used to put a puzzle together every new year's eve, but a Lego set would be even better.

My 4 & 6 year-old kids love Lego almost as much as I do (and have more time to build- lucky them!), and my wife likes Lego, but I wouldn't call her an AFOL. Actually, she had a brief period where she was really getting into it, but then somehow her interest changed to knitting. :sceptic:

Did you know that just like there are miniature building toys (Lego!), there is such a thing as miniature knitting and miniature crochet? There are people who knit with thread instead of yarn to make tiny little things. I've considered trying it just to make my Harry Potter minifigs some tiny little school scarves, but I don't think I have the patience. (Google "amigurumi" to see examples.)

I think I'm probably the only fan. I grew up playing with my brothers Lego. I'm sure he still has that blue bin, but I'm not sure if he gotten any new sets since he discovered video games in his early teens. My dad was a model builder and collector of various Star Wars figures, so I doubt he'd object to my hobby. Pretty sure my mom thinks I'm weird enough, so I don't bother telling her. Although he's not into it himself, my boyfriend is very supportive of my new found obsession- in fact he completely encouraged me to get into it and has since given me Lego gift cards for x-mas and valentines day :wub:. He just worries about space, since we don't have a lot.

I'm a fan of lego when I was a kid, stopped when in my teens and now back to lego. My daughter who is 4 years old like lego also preferably super heroes.

Planning to get my daughter either a creative set or friends set. Every time we went shopping she would overlook the friends set so am not sure if that's the way to go.
