Vorkosigan Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Got the Thanksgiving set this weekend and its really great. Seeing that it is sold out, I wish I picked up two. But given that its only October, maybe there will be another run? They have been inconsistent with "sold out" actually meaning forever before... Hope to grab the Christmas sets as well. Quote
BlockLogo Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 The seasonal sets are usually gone after one run. Quote

parksroad Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Still trying to sell my last free Bionicle pack on ebay, but interested in the Gingerbread house Quote
Mutant Orc Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Thanks for the info folks, I was wondering about the Gingerbread house. It seems to have a bunch of parts in it I don't have enough of, such as 1x1 bricks in that brick colour. Also thanks for the post on the calendar events. Shame that that bionicle pack isn't the one with the golden skull mask. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) 2016 GWP Calendar courtesy of the great Hailey_Bricks from Instagram and Youtube. It contains coupons!!! https://instagram.co...y=hailey_bricks It appears January to March is a free parrot April to June is 100 Free VIP points with a VIP Purchase And July to September is an exclusive Nexo Knights figure. Pretty cool. The parrot is kinda meh but the VIP Points are great. I'm also excited to see the Nexo Knight Figure. Edited October 31, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
Roebuck Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I got my Christmas catalogue today, I'm in the uk so here the Winter Fun & Santas Visit seasonal vignettes will be £8.49 each & available from Nov 1st according to that & the Christmas train will be available free with £50 spends from 22nd October until 20th November. Rather odd, but I can not find them in the shop yet I was sure they would show up to day... Quote
Vorkosigan Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 None of the supposed Nov 1st items have been added in the US site either. Quote
parsom Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 They are available but not listed in "seasonal" category. Try to search by set numbers (40124 and 40125) Quote
Freakshow Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) Holy crap! went to go order these and shipping is 30$ YIKES! why does lego have terrible and slow shipping? edit: went to amazon and ordered through a "store" and got them for 17.99 + 4.99 shipping. that $30 shipping is INSANE. glad I got em though :) Edited November 1, 2015 by Freakshow Quote
BlockLogo Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Shipping in the U.S. from LEGO is like $4.95... How did you get $30?? Quote
Freakshow Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Shipping in the U.S. from LEGO is like $4.95... How did you get $30?? Hmm. It keeps redirecting me to the AU store... Quote
sunhuntin Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 shipping in new zealand was $60NZD for the winter village toy shop and the train promo. took about 10 days to arrive. Quote
Freakshow Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Yeah it kept redirecting me to the AU store, so kind of annoying. So I ordered it through a store on amazon at like 35 or 45$ lol so annoyed. by the time I figured it out they already sent it so I cant cancel it. I have to wait for it and return it. Thats what you get for not paying attention! I should have noticed that $200 free shipping seemed CRAZY. Edited November 2, 2015 by Freakshow Quote
uksuzanne Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I found the 2 new seasonal sets by going to What's New & sorting price low to high. They were at the bottom of the first page. Now just have to wait to see when they get shipped. Quote
(1)Stein Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Bought the last two of this years seasonal sets today as well! 40125 "Santa's Visit was flying of the shelves the gotten 72 in and more then half have already been sold! Must be popular? Quote
sunhuntin Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 ive got both in my bag on s@h, hopefully there will be some left when the gingerbread house goes up. Quote
BlockLogo Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I wouldn't count on those being available for that long. ive got both in my bag on s@h, hopefully there will be some left when the gingerbread house goes up. Quote
sunhuntin Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 i thought the same, but just in case. got enough other stuff to qualify for the house either way. i would likely forget to check if they werent in there. Quote
Boettner Builds Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) You might be too late! Lego S@H says out of stock until the 16 of November. Which, now that I think about it, is better than sold out. But on the other hand that is weird because all of the other seasonal vignettes just went stright to sold out... sunhuntin Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 ahh well, no matter either way. i checked last night and the friends advent had gone to out of stock, as the had the bauble with the mini house inside. Quote
BrickOn Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Who is the target market for the seasonal scenes? I can't imagine there is a bunch of kids running around in the beginning of November asking for Santa's visit scene... Do you reckon these are aimed more at AFOLs? Quote
Boettner Builds Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) I stopped taking chances with these things awhile ago. As soon as each seasonal set was available I ordered 2 of each! I'm no longer willing to miss out on sets then paying too much for them!! Edited November 3, 2015 by redtrooper27 Quote

They're produced in pretty limited quantities and I've never seen them available anywhere but the LEGO stores. Quote
