swe3t23 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 do we have a release date on the easter set yet Quote
tafkatb Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 March 1st. Should start showing up in LBR stores middle of next week or so though; I don't think it's a hard launch. Quote
swe3t23 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) LEGO website release date March 1 i assume also in store on March 1. i better jump the gun. I missed out not valentines set as it got sold out two weeks before valentines day and had to revert to eBay. These little seasonal sets are pretty awesome. Edited February 15, 2015 by swe3t23 Quote
tafkatb Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 So, you can't tell from the picture, but the Easter set contains seven dark red masonry bricks. It's seeming like they're intentionally working rare parts into these builds, which makes me excited for whatever the next holiday sets will bring. Quote

Or the next one is...... until Halloween Edited February 28, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
Bricknblue Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 There are no summer holidays so unless they just do a "Summer Scene" like they did a few years ago I think the next one will be Halloween. Quote
Roebuck Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Well Valentines day its not exactly a holiday either So it is possible we get a set before Halloween, I certainly hope so since they look great I guess the Easter set will have a photo of the next in line... Quote
swe3t23 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 went to the lego store to pick up the "painting eggs" set aka Easter set. It was sold out. Thought it came out today March 1st Sales associate said they put it out early the day before. Which sucks that means i have to come back again in hopes that they don't sell out on the next shipment. (1)Stein Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) Was at the local store today too, still had some and bought 5, almost everybody waiting at the cash register was buying the set, S@H is already listing it as sold out available again on the 16th. must be a must have set, with those rare bricks........... Sadly no picture of the next set printed on the back off the instructions. :-( Edited March 2, 2015 by (1)Stein Quote
KingDom Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I managed to pick up the second last one from my local store today and I'm planning on putting up a photo review once I work through my backlog of Age of Ultron reviews. In the meantime here's a video review. Quote
Bricknblue Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Sadly no picture of the next set printed on the back off the instructions. :-( Thanks, I was wondering about that. And Valentines Day is a real holiday, it celebrates something stupid and you buy junk for others. That's all LEGO cares about, buying their junk. Quote

If Halloween is the next one, it would be too soon. Besides, it's already on the streets and there are no reports And Valentines Day is a real holiday, it celebrates something stupid I think celebrating love and friendship is not stupid. What is stupid is that there is a day marked on the calendar to point out when people should celebrate them Edited March 3, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
Zusammengebaut Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) „Painting Easter Eggs“ is a really fine seasonal set - with a storyline. :-) What do you think? This is my Review Edited March 7, 2015 by Zusammengebaut Quote
Sarah Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Looking at the kid's shirt perhaps I ought to have purchased more than one. Oh well Quote

What is stupid is that there is a day marked on the calendar to point out when people should celebrate them That's my point. You wait for one stupid random day on a calendar to tell people you care? Silly! Quote
Legocity2713 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 I love these Seasonal sets so far. Lego's 2013 Seasonal sets inspired me to make a MOC for each holiday and season and now, their 2015 sets, are great additions. These are the best seasonal sets so far as well as great parts packs and displays on their own. Can't wait to see the others!!! Quote
Boettner Builds Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I can't wait to see what else LEGO has in store for these :) Quote
BlockLogo Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Read this on another forum, haven't seen it here but maybe I'm not looking in the right place: Seasonal set news!Holiday vignettes (like the Valentine's and Easter sets) Halloween: Kid trick or treating, dressed as a witch, there's a stoop and a front door with a skeleton answering it. Thanksgiving: Restaurant scene - chef wheeling out a full turkey on a cart, pie underneath it, there's a table with a woman sitting at it ready to be served. Christmas 1: Kids building a snowman outside a snowy front porch Christmas 2: "Santa's Visit" fireplace, tree, presents 2015 Holiday Promo sets First is a train, looks like a Christmas version of the Emerald Express. Second is a gingerbread house. Apparently looks amazing. Quote
Robert8 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) Thanks! I was wondering when we would see the Halloween set. It's about time. Interesting info. Sounds like a reuse of S14 Wacky Witch's head+hair combo piece Edited August 7, 2015 by Robert8 Quote

BlockLogo Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I know, I missed the valentine one but the easter one is fantastic. I wish I'd gotten several. They're so versatile, as part packs, display, to add to modular or moc interriors... Quote
