fred67 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I actually think the angler fish would be more likely in LEGO. I also hope the train is the big set, and the gingerbread house some small bonus set. I'll be pretty disappointed if the Christmas train is like the Emerald Express. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 This should really be in the 2015 Seasonal thread no? Bricktober sets sounds like Micro Modulars again. Money saver for sure since I'm not interested in them. Those Holiday vignettes sound amazing, really stoked for them. Quote
finish-last Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Is 40135 an Angel fish or an Angler fish? The Angel fish seems more likely!?! On the website the url says: Monthly-Mini-Build-October-Anglerfish-40135 Isn't an anglerfish one of these ugly guys with the "lamp" thing on the forehead? Quote
ilikeboomerang1 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I would LOVE to have the LEGO Store if it's not for Bricktober so my city would be filled with them! They would be what 7-Eleven is in real life: You find them on every street. I also want the Thanksgiving Feast. Quote
fred67 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Isn't an anglerfish one of these ugly guys with the "lamp" thing on the forehead? Yes, and we've seen them done in LEGO before, and they are a lot more "fun" than an Angel Fish, which leads me to believe it's not a typo or anything. Quote
cmg Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Thanks for the clarification. I see now that it is an Angler Fish. Fun colors for October. Quote

Legocity2713 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the info CM4Sci. Love seeing these ornaments every year. I am still sticking with my trusty Santa Claus bauble from a few years back though. Edited August 18, 2015 by Legocity2713 Quote
mike_mcbam Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Great, thanks for these, hoping that the small vignettes are as good as the one's we've had so far this year. 40140 Flower Wagon 40146 Lufthansa Plane (This is already out?) 40148 Lunar New Year 2015 (Googled this, it's a sheep set?) The plane is already out, yes, unsurprising available only through Lufthansa. A sticker instead of a printed torso on the minifig though, yeurgh. The flower wagon was the promotional set that came out at the same time as the Detective's Office, and is part of the whole biscuit smuggling story. Finally, the new year set, it is indeed a sheep (or goat, depending upon the translation) set, and was only available somewhere in the far east if I recall correctly. I also hope the train is the big set, and the gingerbread house some small bonus set. I'll be pretty disappointed if the Christmas train is like the Emerald Express. I think you're exactly right, it would look like the gingerbread house is one of the 2 bonus sets. Given today's reveal of the winter toy shop, I would imagine the winter train is the second bonus set though, so likely similar in size, or a touch larger, than the Emerald Express. For some reason they're on S@H but don't have actual pages, just errors. Quote
mike_mcbam Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Ah, ok. For some reason they're on S@H but don't have actual pages, just errors. A pity though, I wouldn't mind me a lego goatsheep. Quote
(1)Stein Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 And here is a picture of 40122 Trick or Treat. Available in September! Quote
kermit Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I was hoping for the halloween bucket in the recent minifigure series plus it doesnt seem to be represent much of the front of a house. Quote
Robert8 Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 I don't like it The Valentine Day and Easter set are way better Quote
just2good Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 That's... a let down. I was hoping an exclusive custume print or something, but the result is just lame. Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Eh. I guess it's good if you want.. orange heads.. maybe some of those plants... Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Eh, the set seems pretty good, I like that they gave us some nice parts like the orange heads and plant parts. Will look forward to picking this up! Quote
Sven F Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Meh, the easter and valentines sets were at least one class above this. This looks like some kid's mediocre MOC Quote
(1)Stein Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Although its not as nice as 40120 Valentines day Diner or 40121 Painting Easter Egg, It still has a lot of great parts for €9.99 I will buy my usual 6 Quote
Robert8 Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 (edited) Yeah, some pieces are cool but as a set.... it's a cute little mess If I buy it I won't even build it. Edited August 23, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
Legocity2713 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Eh, not as good as it predecessors, but it still has some good parts and will look nice incorporated into my Halloween MOC. Quote
kelceycoe Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 They didn't even try. They have an all new pumpkin pail and new witch heads and hats. Looks like a very bad Time Cruiser set on crack. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Sweet, good to see some more pics. Thanks for bringing it up to our attention. One minor gripe, that torso, like someone down in Brickfan's comments said, is not really fitting for a witch. Quote
GregoryBrick Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 It looks like a fun set to me and on par with the other seasonal sets this year. Quote
