[soNE] [Episode VII] Droid Dilema

Me and Jay continued searching Lotho Minor, the rebel ship was no where in sight, the Admiral would not be impressed, it was only when I saw a pair of macrobinoculars did I remember an incident that my father had told me about.

Past Scene

My father was a cargo trader, he worked days and nights delivering cargo to all places across the galaxy, he worked with three others, rando, who he considered the fairest of the three as he had convinced the leader to employ him. Rundul, the "right hand man" to our leader, and finally Kaz, are leader, kaz was a straightforward person, you didn't get on the wrong side of him, or you would be sorry.

On one occasion they were delivering cargo on tatooine.

We saw Battle droids scattered across the town, Kaz asked a man wandering out of a building what was going on, he replied "Jedi were sited here, they are questioning citizens and droids, be careful"

"great" he mumbled "Just what we need" he knew there were lots of illegal goods inside the crates.

He approached them, and attempted to negotiate with them, but there was no way forward, "we need to see your cargo sir" demanded the droid. Kaz pulled his pistol out of his pocket and nodded to Rundul, things were getting nasty.

And before we knew it a gun fight had started between the droids.

And before my father knew it, Rando had been shot, my father rushed to him, he had been hit in the arm, he looked up and saw the fighting was still happening. unexpectedly he reached for a thermal detonator in his back pocket and launched it at the droids.

The droids were gone in an instant, battered parts lay on the road, they rushed around Rando, who was on the floor, the shot was not fatal, but it had injured him extremely badly. "good going kid" Kaz said to my father.

My father had been carrying macrobinoculars that day, and, for some reason, whenerver he used them he was reminded of the day he saved his crew.

I'm confused where you say Jedi are there questioning people but then it they never appear and it is battle droids. I like the action shown, but the story was a bit confusing.

As far as the story is concerned, I see where you got confused, basically Jedi had been sited in that particular area so battle droids were sent to investigate and they were questioning citizens as to whether they had seen the Jedi.
