AmperZand Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Goblin raiding party based on the S13 CMF. As you can see, the centre front one is the S13 goblin except with a cleaver instead of a sword and short legs, not long ones. Back row from left: Thug, Sniper, Soldier Front row from left: Barbarian, Boss, Stabber Questions? Comments? Call to arms? Quote
Blockburn Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 These are very nicely done! Where did you get the short, pose-able legs from? Quote
AmperZand Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 These are very nicely done! Thanks! Where did you get the short, pose-able legs from? http://www.brickfortress.com/ I reviewed them here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=73584entry1527866 Note that they expanded their range of colours a bit since I wrote the review. Hope that helps. Quote
jFox Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Well done! I was looking at doing something similar, you've got some great combinations in there. Question: what's the helmet in the lower left corner, the one with the horns? I feel like I've seen it somewhere, but can't place it... Quote
Kintobor Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 These guys are cute, in their own, Lego-ish sort of way! Good job! Quote
AmperZand Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Well done! I was looking at doing something similar, you've got some great combinations in there. Thanks! I had most of them conceptualised before assembling the parts, but swapped some of the heads around before settling on the combos pictured. Question: what's the helmet in the lower left corner, the one with the horns? I feel like I've seen it somewhere, but can't place it... Indian buffalo headdress from various Western sets/packs from 1997 to 2002: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30113 These guys are cute, in their own, Lego-ish sort of way! Good job! Thank you. That's exactly what I was going for: at once sweet and sinister. Quote
Wardancer Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Very nice! They remind me of a warhammer orc and Goblin army. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Very good. I wasn't aware that we are already able to have so mmany goblin variations! Quote
Mencot Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Very cool combos and great use of the brickfortress shortlegs. Quote
Balbo Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Very nice The different variants are really awesome! Quote
Ayrlego Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Great work, I've never been a fan of the short legs - but then I'd never seen movable ones before this post either. Very nice! Quote
