Governor Mister Phes Posted March 24, 2005 Governor Posted March 24, 2005 I've been posting links to the EuroBricks forum on other forums to let more people know the website exists. I haven't gone overboard yet because I'm not sure what the deal is with bandwidth and I wouldn't want to have so much traffic that the website had to close down, or the hosting plan/servers had to be upgraded. Of course, that's if it were possible to find that many people. How long has this forum been operating for? Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Have you considered checking out the staff section on the mainpage and the inscription date of the co-founders ;) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 24, 2005 Author Governor Posted March 24, 2005 Have you considered checking out the staff section on the mainpage and the inscription date of the co-founders ;) No because I'm lazy and I wasn't aware it was there. Plus the website might have come long before the forum. However, I shall take look anyway. UPDATE I've taken a look and the answer is September 2003 for the Eurobricks, but it doesn't state if the message board was created at that time or not. Good work Master Yoda! And Blood Jay, for a change I did use the EDIT button. It was hard but I did it. Might not ever do it again though. Quote
The Middleman Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 The forum's been around for just about a year, I think. Quote

Jipay Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 We had an earlier version of the forum but it had constant crashes. I remember we re re re gistered many times. Then we moved into this server and now it's ok. For the bandswitch don't worry, we got an unlimited one (and it's many mbits/sec in upload). the server ris strong enough to carry much heavier traffic. Quote

Then why don't we all spread the word and inform people on other forums we're signed up to? Especially the really big ones with 10's or 100's of people. There's bound to be a few Lego enthuiasts among the big ones. Spread the word and expand the EuroBrick community! Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted March 24, 2005 Author Governor Posted March 24, 2005 Thats what we do but we unfortunatly dunno all the AFOLs websites around *wacko* I was thinking ANY type of message board, Lego or otherwise. I've already posted the suggestion on a non Lego message board and the thread got about 25 responses. Someone even posted Lego MOC pics relevant to that forum. Quote
