Colossus Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I'm heading out to the Lego store in a few minutes to grab a few of these! I loves me some Marvel Superhero minifigs, and with a little mod, that tiger lady is gonna make a wonderful Tigra custom, and a welcome addition to my Avengers roster. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 It's Sept 1st and CMF Series 14 is now officially available everywhere - Except Minnesota <snip> Someone should give CM4Sci the title Minifigureless Minnesotan. Quote
BrickOn Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Except in the London Westfield Lego store they have sold out (I was pretty much the first in the door this morning too) those pesky 6 year olds must have been in and out like lightening while I wasn't looking! Quote
x105Black Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Got some Gargoyles today. Feeling really good. I hope everyone else is able to find what they are looking for! Quote
ARSLOCK Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 this is an interesting set to feel, definitely bring the leaflet with you. found all i wanted at target today 100%! skipped the frankenstein, gargoyle and zombie pirate. managed to get all the rest including 2 cheerleaders yay! Quote
Dragonfire Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Already sold out at two local stores. There were a couple left at the third, and I picked up the Gargoyle and Spectre. The funny thing is, they still have 4 boxes of Simpsons For UK users: Anyone found any in WHSmiths? Only I have a 20% off voucher for the whole of September and I wanna get a few of these. Yeah, I found ten packets in WHSmiths. And used my 20% off voucher too. Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 If these are so popular, do you suppose they'd do another series of monsters in 2017? I don't know what it'd include, but LEGO might seize the opportunity based on the sales of these guys. Or maybe they'll tap into another theme, like Mythology, Castle, or Space... Quote

8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Grim Reaper, Scarecrow, Mummy Queen, Witch Doctor/Voodoo Doll, Ghoul, Undertaker...I don't know. I don't think another series of monsters will happen, but based on this one's popularity, I'm expecting another "concept" series. Quote
obsidianheart Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I keep missing out on stuff that sells out quickly. The box of these were gone at my local Target between open and 4 p.m (when I got there). Quote
Robert8 Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) The CMF site looks spookier than usual http://www.lego.com/...igures/products Someone should give CM4Sci the title Minifigureless Minnesotan. hahahaa Edited September 2, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I'm the Zombie Businessman, according to the quiz! Quote

8BrickMario Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I wanted to get the Banshee, but the only possible answers are Fly Monster, Specter, Monster Rocker, and Zombie Businessman. At least, I think so...the image name of the ZB is "Zombie Yuppy"! Quote

CM4Sci Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Someone should give CM4Sci the title Minifigureless Minnesotan. Gee, can they? Quote
Robert8 Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 (edited) What other monsters are there? They have enough monsters for another themed series if they want to make it. Especially considering they could make zombified versions of old CMF, like the ones in S14 and the Skater guy. Like Zombie Santa, Zombie Intergalactic Girl or Zombie Circus Clown or whatever they want. Edited September 2, 2015 by Robert8 Quote

knight_40k Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I got the plant guy, tiger lady and zombie business man. Surprisingly I was the first one to hit a fresh box at my local TRU. Quote
phanstasm Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 (edited) I got two Specters, and was surprised to find that their hoods are molded slightly differently than the old dark gray Dementor hoods. The hoods appear to be the same in the marketing photos. However, when comparing the real things side-by-side, the Specter hoods do not show as much of the minifigure neck as the Dementor hood. I wonder if the hood mold is new for the Specter, or if Lego has been producing this new hood for a while and I never noticed. Edited September 2, 2015 by phanstasm Quote

Zombie fitness instructor, zombie skydiver and zombie circus ringmaster would probably be scraping the bottom of the barrel though. Quote
Covenant84 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Haven't seen any yet myself, but not been out since the Monday so probably why. Where do ou get the 20% of smiths vouchers? I'd love a castle or fantasy themed set! They could hit the classic D&D characters and throw in the standard low level monsters - goblin, troglodyte, skeleton etc. Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Zombie Crash Test Dummy! I don't know, I doubt another series will happen, as they'd avoid most of the classics (another vampire would be repetitive, unless it was a Nosferatu style, and we've seen plenty of witches). Quote
