kelceycoe Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Complete collections for $130 on Ebay? I'll wait for these like I did with the Scooby Doo sets and get them a lot less when they're out to the general public. Quote
legoguy1984 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 There is a store that sells only lego and they pre feel the bags so you just tell them what numbers you want and how many. Nice and convenient. Quote
Robert8 Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Orders? These are on eBay now I think that is what he means Quote
legoguy1984 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Not e-bay.I stay in South Africa and I don't think they ship here. I get mine from a physical store. There was another store here that used to open all the bags and then you can buy them that way. It's only the bigger stores like Reggies (owned by TRU but generally smaller stores) that just sell them on the shelf. Quote
MrFishboy11 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Does anyone have any tips on how to get employees to check in the back for the figures? What should I say? I've called Targets and they are useless on the phone. Thanks! Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Find a staff member, give them the DPCI (204-00-1379) and they should go in the back and find the box for you! Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Well, apparently Illinois is the only place with nothing. The Target I checked today apparently didn't have them yet! Quote
DuckBricks Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Find a staff member, give them the DPCI (204-00-1379) and they should go in the back and find the box for you! Because all CMFs have the same DCPI, I tried that and he just came with the older series. When I specified a black box he said that's all they have... :( Quote
Mr Greeble Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Well, apparently Illinois is the only place with nothing. The Target I checked today apparently didn't have them yet! I wish... Nothin' in Maine... Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Well, apparently Illinois is the only place with nothing. The Target I checked today apparently didn't have them yet! Two Targets in southern Minnesota, nothing. They still had Series 12! I still have some hope for the one near my house. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) Here is a video review of series 14 minifigures, I think this is the first full review on youtube. It's not the best review but it works. By the way, this is not my video. Edited August 15, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
Dunedain Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 I found a newly opened case of these today at Toys R Us, in New Jersey. They were up at the customer service registers. I randomly grabbed about 18 figures. I did a little fondling of the bags, but not a ton. The ones I wanted the most were the Plant dudes for Poison Ivy goons, and I luckily got ALL 4. I was so stoked. I was also REALLY happy to get 1 Tiger girl, for either a Cheetah custom, or 66 Catgirl. I was happy to get 2 Banshees, 1 Spectre, 1 Skeleton dude, a Witch, and a Bigfoot. The duds I got were, 2 Monster rockers, 2 Wolfmen(actually not bad), and 2 Zombie pirates, which were all so so. The only other ones I really wanted, and did NOT get, were the Zombie cheerleader for her hair, and the Fly guy. All and all, though, I was so happy to get all 4 of the Plant guys. When they rang up it said, " Do not sell till Sept 1st", luckily she had a code to override and sell to me, so that was cool. So, keep your eyes open, they could be around. Quote

Which Toysrus Quote
Dunedain Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 MrFishboy, it was the Toys R Us in East Brunswick, on rt .18. The TRU nationwide were having a Shopkins promotion so the kids could trade Shopkins with each other, and it was between 12 to 2 o clock. I saw the case at the customer service registers, right away when I got there, which was around 12. So, as far as I know, as of around 1 30, when me and my daughter left, the case was there, but less the ones I bought. Also as I was leaving there was another dude fondling the figures, don't know if, or what, he bought though. So yeah, Toy R Us, Middlesex county, east Brunswick, rt 18. Hope that helps. Quote
Robert8 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) I want that Banshee so badly! What's up with this video? The guy is almost having a heart attack Edited August 16, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 What's up this video? The guy is almost having a heart attack I was chatting with J2G earlier, apparently he had quite the experience while getting these. Quote

just2good Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Good to hear he survived Yes, I'm alive and well. I love the printing on Skeleton Guy, I think he's LEGO's most complex Collectible Minifigure. Quote
Robert8 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) He looks really cool but ...complex? How come? Because of the 360 printing? Edited August 16, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
just2good Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) Because of the 360 printing? Yeppers. Also, the yellow and white doesn't look off, which is what I'd expect from a printing on a solid black head. Edited August 16, 2015 by just2good Quote
MrFishboy11 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Anyone happen to have a picture of the barcode? That's what you gave the guy at target right J2G? Quote
MrFishboy11 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Thanks so much! (Where'd you get this print out) Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Good to hear he survived I didn't know Lady in the Water was in this series That part made me laugh, he had no idea what the official names were. Quote
