Fritzy Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I take it you mean this one. You have access to it? http://www.scoobydoo.com/scooby-doo/video/id/20460 Quote
8BrickMario Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Well, having worked on it yesterday, I have a quick mod for anyone wishing to fit the entire gang in the Mystery Machine. 1. Remove the line of white jumper tiles on the floor (some disassembly required to get to them), sitting Scooby will be used instead. 2. Remove the giant sandwich and sink from both sides. Shaggy and Velma will sit in the 2x2 spaces you have now opened. 3. Put a 2x3 dark grey plate aligned with the window to the cab and against the wall. Seat Scooby there, so he looks into the front. Now everything folds up neatly without having to rebuild the model. The gang didn't usually all sit in the front, anyway. Quote
Soupperson1 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 The gang didn't usually all sit in the front, anyway. In the first season all but Scooby did. Shaggy joined Scooby in the second season onwards. Daphne has recently joined Scooby and Shaggy in the back, but she usually was at the front. :P Quote
ritzcrackerman Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Nothing really to add here that hasn't already been said, other than I would be very disappointed if this theme didn't continue with another run of sets. When these were first released, I kind of rolled my eyes; I saw Scooby Doo growing up, but even I recognized all the flaws of the Hanna Barbera - 1970s animation machine (cookie cutter plots, recycled animation cells, etc.) But then I got hooked on the Mystery Incorporated show (from 2011-2013) on Cartoon Network. That of course has been replaced by Be Cool Scooby Doo (which isn't as good or bizarre). These characters have a permanent place in the cultural zeitgeist - but it makes you wonder if it's being done justice on a frequent enough basis to remain consistently relevant. I will be happy with this limited run regardless. Quote
kelceycoe Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Soupperson1, Have you upped that video? That makes 2 LEGO SCOOBY videos that were released, removed, and never shown again! Quote
Ultron Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Such a shame. Would've loved more classic villains and the Hex Girls! If Lego had only planned one wave they shouldn't have wasted slots in the first wave for the Lighthouse Ghost and the Swamp monster...those could've easily been Iron Hide and Captain Kutler Quote
Boettner Builds Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 All I want is Velma missing her glasses... Quote
TheGlynreaper Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 im slightly disappointed that there seems to be no more Scooby doo sets in the works at lego I really wanted a scrappy doo minifigure and some more classic villains Quote
Silverwolf28 Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I'm very disappointed as well. So many great figures we could have gotten like Scrappy, Scooby Dumb, 10,000 volt ghost, Tar Monster, Ghost Clown and Niner 49er to name a few. Quote
KlodsBrik Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I have nothing but personel rumors to build this on. Having had a talk with a LEGO empolyee thats a friend of mine a week ago. The person told me that the developer / ideas team of TLG have a dimension level pack on the drawing board. As far as this person knows they are working across the brands. All depends on the succes of LD which seems to be ok sales wise, but the person had no clue if it was a 2016/2017 release if at all. Not to get any ones hopes up, just thought it would be nice to let you know. Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I've heard the Dimensions rumors, too. It won't give us anything new, though. Probably just Fred and Velma. Quote

Yeah, the person had no clue as to what the pack would hold. Just that it was a level pack on the drawing board. On a side note LOTR level pack is also being developed or scratched up on paper at least. Edited February 7, 2016 by KlodsBrik Quote
