Boettner Builds Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Another shaggy with his standard face. That way we can get excited about a scooby poly but not really add to what has already been released!! Now I'm SUPER excited!!!! Quote
Soupperson1 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Ooh let's hope it's an Alpha Team 2003 situation and we'll get a full wave of sets next year :D. It seems kinda weird they would make a new pollybag without making any new sets. Quote
strangely Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Maybe we'll get an exclusive set at Halloween or something like that. That could be the reason why there's no information floating around now. Quote
strangely Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Guess this explains the polybag. Comes out in May. Hopefully this means we might see more from this theme at some point. Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 The polybag is called just Scooby Doo so I guess that makes sense. Looks like the normal kind, oh well. Quote
Foxes Productionz Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Guess this explains the polybag. Comes out in May. Hopefully this means we might see more from this theme at some point. The movie looks fun, but the polybag looks kind of lame in my opinion. Edited February 23, 2016 by Captain Nemo Please Don't Quote Photos Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) That movie makes me hopeful that SD is just taking a break for 2016 and will come back next year, a la SpongeBob. I want this minifigure so badly (from the movie, apparently). Edited February 23, 2016 by 8BrickMario Quote
KlodsBrik Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Oh, maybe that movie is the rumors I´ve been told about by an employee. I so hope not though. I would really love to see a LEGO Dimension level pack for Scooby Doo. Quote
Ashnflash Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I was really excited when I saw this! Glad to see the theme isn't dead! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 That's the same Scooby from dimensions... I love how it says "Limited Edition Exclusive" That's how they get people. Quote
strangely Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 That's the same Scooby from dimensions... I love how it says "Limited Edition Exclusive" That's how they get people. Dimensions Scooby was the sitting variation. Also the exclusive printing for the Dimensions Scooby is on the opposite side of the head, so we can't even tell if it's the same head. Really the picture is too small to tell if the printing is new. Quote
Lego4366 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Do you think the scooby fig is a place holder?it doesn't look final. Quote
Soupperson1 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Do you think the scooby fig is a place holder?it doesn't look final. I doubt it, it appears to have an open mouth, there's red on his right side. Quote
Brickity Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Scooby Doo was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid, and I would've died for SD sets at that age. I'd be wiling to get the mystery machine and/or the haunted mansion, but I really think they don't do much justice for the cartoons. 1. The mystery machine is kinda small and there isn't even space for the entire team, and I guess that's why Daphne and Velma aren't included. 2. The mystery mansion is too... scraggly? I don't know... it lacks of that scooby doo haunted mansion vibe, I think even the inside lacks of playability. Maybe they could've done a cheaper version of the Monsters haunted house with different colors and details. And yeah, Fred is not included. I will have to bricklink the minifigs and pray that they are not bloody expensive, cause my wallet will be screaming with just the price of the dollar. Quote
craiggrannell Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 "The mystery machine is kinda small and there isn't even space for the entire team" Yep, although a few jumper plates and some other minor modifications, though, and three in the front and Shaggy in a chair behind works pretty well. 8BrickMario Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 You don't even need to change the structure, as long as you're fine with two in front, two in back. Removing the kitchenette setup leaves two seats in the back, and sitting Scooby can look into the front. Quote
Brotherfromanotherbrick Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Does anybody know if we will be getting scooby doo sets this year, or next year? Quote
8BrickMario Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 None this year, though it might pick up again next year. Quote
Jayoheazy Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 How many variations are there of the SD minifg? Is the Dimensions version exclusive? Quote
BluePulse Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 The dimensions one is in fact exclusive The versions of scooby doo in the sets are as follows Museum set: standing, smiling Headless horseman set: sitting, goggles mystery machine set: standing, scared Lighthouse set: sitting, scared Mystery Mansion set: standing, smiling (same as museum) Dimensions pack: sitting, tongue sticking out Quote
strangely Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) New variation is of his mouth being open with his tongue partially sticking out. Oddly Blu-ray.com is now saying it comes out on March 10th, while Amazon says May 10th and the original press release says May 3rd. So when this actually comes out is anyone's guess. Mythul Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Any idea until when this series will be available ? I already got the mansion and the mystery machine and I'm thinking of buying the entire series. I'm waiting for an Amazon UK discount. Do they have these often ? Quote

I already got the mansion and the mystery machine and I'm thinking of buying the entire series. I'm waiting for an Amazon UK discount. Do they have these often ? I'm not sure how long they'll keep the series around for but I would imagine it would be at least a year from the time that they started selling them. I think discounts on them are just kind of off an on at random. Quote
JamPotStudios Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I'm a completionist, so I need it. I was sent all the sets last year and love them to bits, especially since they came out near enough the same time as the Halloween minifigure series. I really hope we get more Scooby-Doo sets in the future, it would be such a shame if Lego did not release any.Haven't had chance to get the Dimensions pack yet but out of interest, is the printing on the Scooby in that different to the sets? Quote
