captainmib Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Amazing car, very well done. You did a great job on creating all the angles, and the color suits it really well. Quote
Appie Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) I think it deserves the Hall of Fame.  Thirded, really awesome car, great work getting the lines of the model and I like the chrome touches. I also like the use of the panels on the engine cover to mimic that aggressive Aventador look. Instantly recognisable as a Lambo Edited January 9, 2015 by Appie Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Gorgeous MOC! I love this super car and I love your (perfect) work! I like the MODded wheels and the back of the car! Perfect work! Quote
Rishab N Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) I've also been following the progress on this one and wow it turned out great. Also I definitley agree it should be in the HOF Edited January 9, 2015 by Rishab N Quote
Trawler Man Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Not a Lambo fan at all, but this is spectacular. Love the black on yellow. Quote
Nalyd997 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Could you please show us the third party pneumatic hose? They could come in very handy! Quote
stefan_betula_pendula Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Thanks for all your kind words! These are the third party pneumatic hoses I have used: http://www.ebay.de/i...=item2ec805b7ba Always glad to see my scaler helping someone :) It was really helpful and it's a great tool! Does it also use the same suspension/axle set up from the vampire gt? Difficult to say... The height of the fixing points for the shock absorbers are the same because of the space I needed over the axles for the body work. The rear axle uses 4 shock absorbers instead. why did you not use official Lego flexible hoses?...availability?...i now there are 19L Yellow hoses...maybe you could not get the parts or in the right length? There are only 11L, 14L and 19L softaxles available at Bricklink and these lenghts don't cover the the needs for the Aventador. Maybe I could use rigid hoses as an alternative but the availabilty referring to a few sellers is not really better and this could cause a lot of orders. dougstar Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Now we have to all get a chance to build this beast of a LAMBO! are instruction for this master piece going to be available? Quote
stefan_betula_pendula Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 I would love to make real building instructions myself but I'm absolutely new to LDraw and MLCad. So I would appreciate some help... Quote
__________________________ Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Regarding bodywork, there's too much empty space. Regardless, it captures the overall shape. Quote
stefan_betula_pendula Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Ok, so please let me know which things could I make better!? To be honest I can't see too much empty space without reduce functionality. I tried to use technic panels #13/#14 instead of #3/#4 for the trunk but this would harm the steering angle. Furthermore it's technic and not model team. Edited January 10, 2015 by stefan_betula_pendula Quote
Meatman Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 So can this be built with the regular flex axles or do they need to be modified? Quote
dougstar Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 it is perfect the open space is just like the 8448. and im sure most people would have to say that is a classic. as im sure your LAMBO will be as well. id offer my help with LDraw but i would know where to even start Quote
Meatman Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Regarding bodywork, there's too much empty space. Regardless, it captures the overall shape. I think the body looks great. As stated above, this is a Technic model. However, I think that it shares a bit too much in common with this one though. Many of the build techniques throughout the body are exactly the same. stefan_betula_pendula Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) I mentioned that I have already known the Aventador of Francisco Hartley and he made a great model. But I also said that his Aventador was the reason that I built the limited edition and tried to make my model as different as possible. Sometimes this succeeded better and sometimes worse. However, in my starting post I gave all people the credits they deserve. So can this be built with the regular flex axles or do they need to be modified? I have no idea... I have to check this. piterx Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 great model man! i love the way you put panels! great job :) Quote
Hrafn Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Beautiful! I'm not normally a big fan of either Lamborghinis or this style of bodywork in Lego, but somehow it just looks right. The yellow and black color scheme and the sleek curves make it look very swift and aggressive. Quote
kandykop Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) One of the best looking supercar MOCs out there. Small assembly error on the front(you can see there is a piece is one stud higher than it should be, and it makes the red hose bend unnaturally). Fixed later on,but did not retake photos. LeocornoProductions Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 That looks gorgeous, will anyone be making the new sv? Quote
KirTech LAB Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Great work! BTW i think yellow rims look very nice too! Quote
darsedz Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 3 "must have MOC" on one shelf... it is not fair... mine will be white + black + orange details... not yet...but soon ;) Quote
