At the best-armed watchtower of the border between Mitgardia and Avalonia, drives Gwendar his horse cart to the port, where Lurolas, the watchman, asks him to stop.

[Lurolas] You shall not pass! The border is closed for dwarves, we(the drow) don't want dwarves in our lands, because we are in war with you!

[Gwendar] Nice to meet you! But do you see whats on my cart?

[Lurolas] ehm... It looks like a chest...

[Gwendar] You're right! It's a present for your leader, because we want to end the war... And I'm here to bring this to your leader, so if you want peace, you have to let me pass!

[Lurolas] Of course I want peace... So I will let you pass, but first I want to see whats in the chest.

[Gwendar] I understand your question, but I'm not allowed to open it before it's by your leader, because it's a diplomatic chest.

[Lurolas] ehm.. yeah.. I'm not allowed to let any dwarf pass the border, but I want peace. so, go fast and don't tell anyone that i've opened the border for you!

[Gwendar] Thank you! Have a nice day!

And Gwendar passes the border, and when he has traveled some more miles, he stops and opens the chest to let the dwarf out... Then he went back with his empty cart to do this trick again when there are another watchman...

I really like the use of the purples, it gives the whole build something `warcrafty`

Beautiful build, the purple roofs really accent this build nicely! Love the shaping of the tower as well, fantastic work!

Nice story, and a really cool building. Lovely, lively!

Very well done!

thanks guys!

Great work, the purple roof is really eye catching and the tower coming right out of the rockwork is perfect! The idea of a diplomatic chest is quite sneaky too!

I'm really going to have to try building in this fairy tale-ish style sometime. Like I said on flickr, I really like the repetitive use of the circles on the tower.

What a nice tower! Love the purple, maybe not the most realistic color to use, but it fits well. Also excellent building techniques!

Lovely build mate.. I really like the use of the whips there... Excellent detail. And the Overall building design is great!

Thanks mate, I bought the whips for trees, but used them for the roof... :c

A wonderful build, I've been looking forward to this since first seeing your WIP photos! The purple roof is a really nice touch, as are those elegant looking whips. They work great for your purpose! Definitely some interesting techniques here to enjoy and study! Great work jaapxaap!

Excellent build, jaapxaap!

As others have said, I love that tower and its fantasy/Blizzard appearance! The rockwork is fantastic as well, especially with the foliage and creeping vines. The chest is a nice idea to hide the dwarf!

I love the shape of the tower, it is reay neat! The roofed arch is also a really neat feature!
