Damn, you have way too much brown for your own good. Save some for the rest of us :-P

As usual I love this piece, and I think the use of grated tiles to get the track effects was brilliant. I was considering something similar with brown ladder pieces, but this allows you to shape the tracks. My only concern is that they're raised, which looks a little weird. Are they secured?

Amazing Keith! Thanks for sharing. I love this stuff. I've seen your creations before and really admire your building and the scale you tacklet. I would suggest linking a picture to your first post just to give people a taste of what they'll miss if they pass this thread up.

Thanks for sharing. I always look forward to seeing more from you. Your creations are amazing! *sweet*

That is incredible. (Even ignoring the fact that I don't think I have ever seen so much brown at once. Most of my brown in in my MTT...) I like the tracks-in-the-mud effect.

I almost didn't click as I don't like using Flickr much. You really should add at least one pic...

What an impressive diorama that is, brilliant in its overall appearance and in detail too. *y*

That landscaping and the way you set up your scenery is very careful and scrupulous.

Starwars4J: Thanks, if it is any consolation, you are looking at all the brown I have. To answer your question, no the are decidedly not secure and caused me a fair share of grief with minifigs falling over, and clumsy movements of my hands >:-) . I started by using the grated tiles on headlight bricks, which gives you a nice sunken look, but I didn't have enough to cover the distance I required, and doesn't really allow for the freedom to depict turns that I wanted.

Hinckley39: Thanks, and I will definetly ad a picture next time.

Sinner: Thanks, see above.

Asuka: Thanks. Borrow away, I've seen other designs like it elsewhere, so I'm not even sure who came up with it first anyway. It is part of a large projcet I'm working on with 2 buddies. We are hoping to take it to NWBC in Seattle Washington this October. The Diorama is actually arctic, but many of the tracked vehicles, and troops are the same.

::gets stuck looking at other stuff::

Flickr is alien to navigate for me.

At the same time, I'm actually liking the commentaries.

Maybe I'll migrate there.

Is that a Lego part, that hugeassed knife/sword?

Loving this diorama... at first was put off by use of non-lego guns, only to realize they were merely cleverly constructed of smaller parts.

The realism and detail in your environment(s) are freaking amazing!

Is that a Lego part, that hugeassed knife/sword?

It's a LEGO scythe... blade... thing.

Anyway; Keith, you're creations never cease to impress me. The terrain in this one is indeed too awesome.

And also, I'm jealous of you're collection of brown pieces.
