Nacho Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 For anyone growing up in the UK flicking through the Argos catalogue was part of Christmas, looking at all the toys and making a list! Well if you want to relive any of that it seems a lot of the old Argos catalogues are available to view online, from 1973 / 1999 by the looks of it. Most importantly for us it lets you view all the Lego sets Argos used to have in each year. View them all here: http://retromash.com/argos/ (For those not in the UK the toy section was usually at the back ) Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Oh, my friend on facebook posted a link to that! Sadly it skips some of my prime Argos catalogue browsing years (1995-1999) but it has got a little bit of nostalgia for me in there. Quote

1974 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) 928 for £14.29? I'll take ten, thanks. Adjusted for inflation that's around £77.66 so not cheap even back then Edit : £60 for the yellow castle Edited January 15, 2015 by 1974 Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I also look with the Zoids with desire... LEGO and Zoids were my two childhood loves. Regretably, while one is still fully accessable and only improving, the other is very expensive even before I enviosion a custom design! Quote
62Bricks Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 And for the North Americans, you can have the same experience looking through the "Wish Books" from Sears, JC Penney, FAO Schwartz, Wards, etc. at http://www.wishbookweb.com/ Quote
Ondra Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Too bad, that I cant order from that catalogue. Some old new lego sets will be very welcome . Quote
