HJR-Holland Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) So quite a while ago I landed on the odd chance to buy a batch of HAVOC Trooper outfits from the LEGO Star Wars set 9497. I bought the corresponding helmets from Arealights.com and ended up with ten minifigs looking like this: But what to do with all these figures? I decided I needed a vehicle to put all these figures in. Searched a bit on the Internet and found out there was a big Walker in the SW:TOR videogame that was exclusively there to carry troops: It also carried a very peculiar way of opening the backside: Splendid! I decided to build this vehicle for my fresh troops. And here's the end result: It features the same opening construction of the backside: A neat little compartment for the pilot: And it carries quite a few HAVOC troopers - with their weapons. Look at all those smiling faces: I also made a short video of the vehicle, which you can find here Albeit being in the test version of the vehicle, it never made it to the final game - it was replaced by the Manka-Class Armored Transport instead. Look how hideous it is: Eurgh... But I'll surely build it any time soon ;-) Unfortunately the vehicle's role is now reduced to one picture in the SW:TOR videogame, in Timeline 1: Treaty of Coruscant. It's so much reduced in Star Wars history, Wookiepedia decided to cut it out of its pages :-( So treasure what you see here folks; one of the vaguest Star Wars vehicles out there ;-) A lot more pictures can be found here! Kodan Black Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Great representation of the original vehicle. I must say those middle legs are bizarre and hideous though. Very clever pull out for the pilot you made there! Quote
Lord Tyrus Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Great representation of the source, though I personally disagree with you and think the Manka-Class looks better, especially with the original's middle legs, . Quote
markus1984 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 How i sayd on IDS, absolut great work on the walker and looks so original! Well done markus Quote
TWP Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 As I already said on Lego World, I think you've made a really good build representing an already very good design in ToR. I have to say it looks more impressive in real life, though. Quote
