Swamp Police or else

Well, I was looking around on the USA S@H site the last few days, and something suddenly occurred to me. There were no 'Police' sets at all. Only the new 'Swamp Police' sets, and the small accessory blister pack. The regular police set was not to be found. The only way it appears, far as I have found, is if I do a set number search for it, then it appears, and is available to buy. Is this some sort of manipulation to steer customers to only the newest sets? Strange.

Also, there are 4 pages of sets to look at by just clicking through the City Theme, but the last 2 and a half pages are all 'Sold Out' sets!

Maybe they got tired of hearing AFOL's complain that they keep putting out the same old Police sets, so now they're hiding them from us.

It is kind of ridiculous how many sets that are shown on the shopping pages that aren't available to buy. If they want to show retired sets there should be a seperate section for that.

The thing that really annoys me about the site is seeing a set listed as sold out with a sale price that was seemingly never available.

The German shop is a mess. It's easily one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had in the past 15 years.

It already seems to be some sort of a running gag (many are frustrated) over at the 1000Steine forums.

It took me almost a year and more than 50 tries to get their system to accept my VIP card and even though I'm logged in, I get reconnected to the American shop all the time. Also, many complained that their orders get cancelled way too often. Whenever I want to buy something from them, I prefer to give them a call. What really disappointed me was that I didn't get any VIP points for my 2x Horizon Express and I didn't get the small freebie, either.

Sorry about the rant but I thought I'd share my experiences.

Apparently the new train sets aren't showing either. I checked and you are right Talos, the police sets from last year aren't there. Here I thought they had fixed the website...
