Meatman Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 To be honest I was wondering where this thread was going. But wow! What a great looking model came out of this Quote
Appie Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 While I totally understand what Lipko means. I can see myself sitting on the couch with that thing on the table messing around with that vector thrusting Quote
Captainowie Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 To my mind, this would be equivalent to building either of the first two models described here http://technicopedia.com/8485.html, but with the Control Center replaced by the IR Receivers/SBrick. The fact that the model is stationary does not make it any less remote-controlled. Quote
Omikron Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) That's just 2 motors out of 4, without gearbox. I will try to complete mechanics render today. More pictures to follow. Edited February 14, 2015 by Omikron Quote

I too would love to just sit and play with something like this. So cool! Quote

braker23 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I congratulate you, this is truly an amazing model, both in design and functionality, and the sheer complexity of the mechanics make me feel humble and eager to learn :) Quote

Very impressive!!!!!! Thank you! Here are some photos that were not published yet. The gun Notice that the wings are straight, the weight is distributed evenly through the special frame to keep them so. Nose cone is one of my favorite parts of the MOC. Took me a while to design the final shape with all those angles and symmetry. The thin red line was added to spice things up a little bit, besides LEGO's white and red combination looks good. Quote
Dalafik Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 This model is very rich on functions, well done! My suggestion is that you need to wait for the upcoming Fire Plane set and use half cut panels from it to improve this project. Quote
