Arthur gives 500 gold to Althior, and again offers an additional 35 if he's willing to give him another Nostrum. Arthur then waits for Lilly's opinion; if the party decides to stay, Arthur drinks his last Mead and Smelling Salts, as well as the Nostrum if the party decides to stay and Althior gives it to him.

That includes your hair ribbon, Lilly."

The Weather Mage shakes his head. "Maybe we shouldn't go on. Maybe it would be smarter to leave and fetch Byblos, or the Sand Queen, or someone else who has even more skill in demonology than me. But that wouldn't satisfy Lilly's request, and I highly doubt it would satisfy you. So the best course of action is to proceed forward, cautiously, and try to counteract our enemy's advantages as best we can."

Arthur looks to Lilly. "I swear, Lilly, I will do everything in my power to protect you. You have my word." Arthur clutches his Garnet and Diamond tightly, as ready as he'd ever be to face what lay ahead.

Then the girl stomped over to the nanny.
