El Garfio Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 IMHO yes. And with only little customization. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I would agree. I've used sets from other themes in my city (Indie J. Adventurers, etc). The top one looks good for beach/ off-road, minus any weaponry on the original models and the tower has many good parts for a small sky-scraper type structure. I may have to look into the two off-roaders Quote
Moebius118 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I am looking forward to seeing how people modify these sets to have them integrate seamlessly into a City layout. Quote
kibosh Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I build my city layout for the enjoyment of children. I try to work as many whimsical points of interest as possible; like the LEGO Movie sets. Kids LOVE them!. I plan of getting 76038 to use as a base for my Stark Tower/Avengers HQ. This will help me work a bunch of Super Heroes into the scene. Quote

I have countless themes mixed together in my layout. I find it fun and creative to come up with the combinations and work out ways to fit different stuff together in a context that works. E.g. Imagine how CARS sets can mix with the Palace Cinema?! Quote
MusicaRibelle Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Two avengers towers: one side for the facade of a building, the other, curved, side for a round tower on top or as corner -- maybe as elevator shaft.. for example to modernize the corner of the great emporium. So many ideas, so little time... Quote
TheLegoPerson9 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I would say yes with some customization as well. I'd like to see how people will modify/customize that black vehicle. Quote
docmikeb Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 The Avengers / Stark Tower could be perfect in a modern city set. The black car looks good... but could be modified and customized. Quote
