Review: 10679 Pirate Treasure Hunt

Just got this set finally. My shark has printed eyes. Hard to say if it's better or worse than the head seen in the instructions. But it definitely fits better the other animals seen in new Pirate sets, like the sawfish and the crocodile.

I bought several copies as parts packs. They all had the old-style shark eyes (hooray!). I really like the black treasure chest and the old-style skeleton. I can live with the large wall panel and base pieces; I'll use them somehow. I think the juniors sets are good enough in their own right and the part selection with this one is really quite good. Above average vote for me.

This is a great review. I will definitely have to add this to the list of sets to pick up for my little guy :)
