It is smasher, not launcher, right? I don't see a big fig, I thought is was a normal fig driving it. I thought I saw the shoulderpiece with the spikes (gundabad orks used them) and the big fists for minifigs in red

All of the set names are different, they might be the European names.

How do you figure? By putting a black falcon image on space armor and a rocket sled that's supposed to pass for a shield? I don't think so.

I thought so. But I can see that if you like classic castle, getting the heraldry you want in a way that can't be used might sting even more then, say, yet another lion.

Indeed.

By the way, I don't really see the rumored steampunk vibe in this theme

This is pure sci-fi

Whelp, Lego refers to it as a "Knight theme with tech upgrades" or something like that (forgot what the exact quote was), so I think they intend for it to be a Castle theme.

The Castle behind the Robo Horse looks like a real Castle to me....

Brickjagger, could you point me to the bigfig you see? I can't seem to find it. I found the pics though. Thank you

Not sure if they're quite bigfigs, but the guy in the lava launcher and the knight with the bull emblem seem to be larger than the others.

Well, not to beat a dead robohorse, but here I go

- That seems like a very open-ended definition of castle. If having knights is what matters, no matter the tech, maybe star wars should be a castle theme? ;)

- I don't think this is a castle theme in the technical naming-thing-way. Ninjago isn't a castle theme, Ninja and was. Obviously Ninjago uses a lot ninjastuff, and this has a lot of castlestuff, but I think this is like Ninjago in that way. Like an action theme

- as fas as i can see everything is vehicles. There's no terrain, no buildings, just swooshables (and whatever sound kids will make when they are pushing that castletank around).

edit; I don't say any of this to get on the 'get this crap out of our beautifull history forum' bandwagon or because I don't like the theme, or because I want to shoot the messenger. I just don't get why lego would call this a castle theme.

edit; typos

Beast Master's Chariot: .............. I have no clue who the red knight is. 9/10

I'm pretty sure the red knight is the female (Macy?). She is shown on the front cover as the red knight. The weapon being held appears to be a fancy mace. The other unique knights seem to be represented in the other sets, so it's a pretty good bet this is where she is represented.

There was terrain in almost every Chima set, and looking at the actual box images, even though they are small, I see terrain.

There's also what looks to be a cottage behind the chariot and a Castle behind the Robo-Horse.

To be honest I'd be all for this being moved to action themes, not because I don't consider it a Castle theme myself (I do), but because I just think its eclectic nature would be better appreciated there. This theme feels to me like the science-fantasy theme Knight's Kingdom SHOULD'VE been (instead of trying in vain to look more like traditional fantasy by neutering some of its most promising concepts). I think in Action themes (not Space, since so far we've seen nothing to suggest that this theme has any extraterrestrial content), it'd get more attention from people who appreciate it for what it is, and less whining from people hoping for it to be something it's not.

Yes that is true, there is a giant castle in the background. Good point. And now I also see the cottage. They are not lego built but rather a backdrop-image like the catalogs had in the '90, don't you think so?

Do you mean the little box pics on the bottom of the right page? I can't make it out to be honest, but that must me be.

My main point was, do you think this will be a subtheme of castle? Because then I think my fist too point stand. Or at least, you didn't tear them down :)

Still not on the bandwagon ;) but I think you are right in seeing that as a source of a lot of the negativity here

You are not looking hard enough, I don't know if i'm allowed to help you :s But you are looking for a leaked nexo knights image? I would just use those exact words

Thank you, that is definitely very Sci-Fi looking from that Image, I do somewhat like it for what it is, I would buy into that if I was going to dabble into Sci-Fi more then I currently do.

It looks like a Metal Stronghold of some sort, the wall panels remind me of S.W.A.T./Police Riot shields and there are stud shooters, hardly a Castle  Those Tank Treads are obnoxiously oversized as well, very unappealing. It's actually the only thing I dislike about the image the Knights look cool they could be Space Marines akin to the Grey Knights from Warhammer 40K. The Villain looks like a proper creep but the little minion looks too silly and not even cute so I'd say the Castle and the Minion are the 2 things I really dislike so far. (Would have to see the actual Brick Built thing to say for sure though.)

You are not looking at the same picture I think. Are you talking about the tank-castle?

I'm talking about the Castle in the background, not Fortrex.

I'll go ahead and assume you haven't found the other pictures yet.
