BrickFit26 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CQ0wgPSWEAQjiLS.jpg:large The link above is a picture LEGO tweeted out, and it shows Macy's ponytail or plume from an above angle. It looks long. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Did anyone know about these posters that were given away at NYCC? http://m.ebay.com/itm/NY-COMIC-CON-2015-EXCLUSIVE-DOUBLE-SIDED-LEGO-NEXO-KNIGHTS-MOORINGTON-POSTER-/121783456578?nav=SEARCH Quote
anothergol Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 There doesn't have to be a castle theme every year... There isn't a Space theme every year (Star wars does not count). yes, Star Wars counts, it has pretty much replaced old space themes. I just can't imagine Lego with NO spaceship for a whole year. That's what Lego has always been about, castles, cars, ships. Quote
AshCo Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 -sigh- another disappointing "castle" theme. Quote

x105Black Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Well that's a nifty treasure chest. I wish it had a bluish grey lid. The first set you posted has my favorite villain minifigure, but the rest of the set is pretty useless to me. The second set there has no appeal to me. I really want the Lance minifigure (mostly for the visor since it's the best visor in the theme), but his Robo-Horse set looks absurd and isn't going to be a cheap one. I'll wait for BrickLink or a cheaper version. I might pick up this one: Because many pieces will be useful, it's got a book, and I really like the evil minifigure. Not as big a fan of the Knight, I suppose his visor could be useful but it's not my favorite. The Pac-Man Podracer is ridiculous, the only thing I'm really interested in is Macy (again, mostly for parts like the plume and a decent visor). But it also has a book and those pyramid pieces, so I suppose it's a possibility. I might end up BrickLinking what I want out of it, or waiting for a cheaper set with Macy. And the Racecar has that nice looking evil minifigure again, but the rest of it looks pretty useless. Too bad they replaced the Chrome Sword with that new techno-blade. I think I'll have to buy a few of this villain minifigure on BrickLink as well. I'm glad he's in 3 sets, but he's in the sets that appeal to me the least. I might end up with this set: Even though I don't have a need for most of the bricks. But Lance and the little girl are great, as is the book. Looks like they finally made a Balrog, and they threw the Queen into that set. The King's Mech might be a buy, for some reason I'm a sucker for nice looking mechs and this one has the King. Or maybe I'll find him on BrickLink for a reasonable price. Thanks for the images, CM4Sci! Edited October 11, 2015 by x105Black Quote
whung Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Thanks sharing. The sets are so weird just like a mixture of Chima and Castle. Quote
Jbricks Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) I can't wait for the books! Edit: also, CM4Sci's drawings were nearly spot on! Edited October 11, 2015 by Jbricks Quote

BrickJagger Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 The surprises won't stop coming! Thanks Sci! 70324: Wonder what this is? Looks like it has pins on the sides to connect to..........other parts of a giant castle. Modularity! 70325: Giant Lava Monster + Queen = Buy. I think that we're up to nineteen individual sets just for the first wave. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Thanks for the pics CM4Sci! The Robo horse set is kinda dissapointing I like the King and Queen sets And that set with the little girl looks odd No Merlok 2.0 yet Quote
Kraby Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) My god. Those look so much better than on the leaked catalog pages (mostly because they were quite blurry, they don't seem to have changed that much). Especially Clay's vehicle, it looks quite nice here! King's Mech is cool, and that 70325 monster is terrific!!! I'm still not sold on the robo-horse, I'll wait to see if it does transform into something else. PS: any sign of Robin? Vorkosigan Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Wow great to see more pictures, even new sets. Just confirms I will probably get all the bad guy sets but less likely the good guys. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I am overwhelmed by my lack of desire for that horse set. That was my first and most powerful thought upon seeing the lineup. I'm sure I'll have more thought soon. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Rayskull Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) The King's Mech is the best Lego mech I've seen. He's got a small vehicle on his left arm. Fortrex could be like a big Mech Hanger now! The Prison Tower is a great little set for folks who want a bit of Fortrex but don't have $100 looks great, I'd like to put that in Fortrex somehow. But...I think its made so you can get multiples and make a long perimeter wall. Clay's Cruiser Looks sooo much better now, I really like the little robo horses that the villian sets come with. those look excellent. Ahhhhh hah, There are three different colored normal sized robo horses. How sneeky, another thing to want to collect! Ahhh hah #2 The demon monster has a disc shooter in his hammer, and his whole chest mouth opens to eat figures! Edited October 11, 2015 by Rayskull Quote
Zergos Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Dang, I can already seeing my wallet getting thinner. Interesting to see 70325 as there was no previous mention of it. I'm kind of disappointed about 70324, it doesn't really resemble a library, and there's no merlok :(. Other than that, these sets look great! Quote
x105Black Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Reminder that the Mecha Horse converts into a bike No Ultimate sets, no Robin. It might have been a better looking horse without that functionality. Too bad Robin will only be in the Ultimate sets. He's got a small vehicle on his left arm. I didn't even realize that's what I was looking at. I just thought it was a shield of some sort. A vehicle is a pretty weird shield. As an aside, I'm glad 2 of the robots come with Pearl Grey helmets, so that at least 1 piece in their assembly will be useful to me. Lack of a Merlok 2.0 minifigure is also pretty sad.
