@ChristopheQ:

As I already said, I just did a quick test test, so no final version. To be correct, I replaced the 1x5 hinge brick with the 1x4 plus a 1x1 in the front part of fortrex and filled the gap with some 1x1. So the closed version of fortrex has the same size (one side still original built), but the open is a bit different. I know, that will lead to some problems with the library, but othing, that cant be fixed.

Thank you Sylvius !

I forgot it could impact the Library...

I was trying to stay away from Nexo Knights because I really don't need another theme to get into, but I accidentally bought the King's Mech yesterday because it just looks so awesome. I hope it sucks so I won't want any other Nexo Knights sets.

DK has announced a new book called "The Book of Knights" with a new shield icon for the Merlok 2.0 app and an exclusive minifigure! No idea what the fig will be, but the book looks pretty stylish. :classic:Link

Looks okay. Fig is either an unarmored knight or a Beast Master variant.

You probably shouldn't attempt to identify it by its silhouette, since that's most likely just a placeholder for the actual display fig. It even seems to have a ninja hood, like past Ninjago books have had, suggesting that they simply reused an existing silhouette graphic.

Erm, It's not the tv show, it's just the little webisodes. Didn't see a topic for that.

After looking at a review of Clay's Rumble Blade though, I don't really like how it looks with none of the things on it. Also, Toys R Us list it a "Rumple Blade" in my area!

Even though it's only 5 or so minutes long, it's still the show...

I'm curious if we'll end up getting more magic books in the Summer. They seem to be this years collectible (similar to Ninjago's weapons) so why not have more?

I hope that we get some books that don't have transparent covers.

If it stays like wave 1, 10$ set could have no books, Aaron and Macy vehicle with bots but no books, Magmar with a book, Axl with a book and a bot, Volcano with the Book of Monster...

trans-red-orange ? trans-blue ? trans-pink would make me happy...

Regarding the books, I guess they are the common thread of NK 2016. Shields will last till NK ends, but next year there should be no magic books and some new objects to collect (ala Ninjago).

( books should still appears in others theme as well, so in few year we could have a proper library :)

We got 5 so far (including the Book of Monsters)

Except the book of monsters, the bottoms are gold.

We got a purple cover (in the Fortrex set, Sparkz inside the book), a transparent (Moltor set, 2 scurriers inside) a trans-yellow (Chariot set, Flama inside), a trans-green (library set, globlins spider).

I hope that we get some books that don't have transparent covers.

Not sure... But Lego elves will get a beautiful non transparent red one if I am correct.

I was not very happy with my Ultimates, but opening Chaos Chariot was very satisfying. The big globlins have a beautiful blood red hue. And the book is beautiful. Not very easy to display all of them in shelves though, as the side is not the best angle. Maybe 2 for each (small) shelf, with one up and one laying. So the 2 covers can be seen...

We should still be getting books for the summer wave.

I think I've pointed it out before, but lance will be in the cheapest set with a globiln build. That's all to it.

I shouldn't be getting into another theme either, but I couldn't help myself lol. Ive been looking for the kings mech, but I haven't seen it.

It's a Walmart exclusive in the U.S.

And only one part about it sucks: there is not nearly enough friction on the left shoulder joint to keep up the shield flyer thing with the robot. Is that a known issue?

Same issue with me. I have around 50 friction joints so I just added one of those from my CCBS collection...

One of these?

I don't mess much with CCBS so I don't have spare parts hanging around but these basically add friction, right? The set comes with two of them for the ankle hip joints, should have had them for the shoulders as well.

I'd never seen a friction joint before building the king's mech, but I could use one for the shoulder. Why put them on the legs only? A good set though, very detailed. Perfect for Infernox to fight, so its a bit odd you can't get them at the same store unless you buy them direct from LEGO.

Thanks, I checked was mart, they didn't have any. I think they sold out.

Thanks guys. You've just helped me make my decision not to buy the King's Mech. That was one I had been considering.

It's really fantastic other than that one issue. Shame... I think I'll contact LEGO customer service and see what they say about it.
