Peppermint_M Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Might I mention a certain Malchior (LEGO Cookies for anyone who understands that reference) Who knows, the book could cage a scary monster so powerful that it warps the book itself? So yeah, anyway. Mr Greeble, there is no need for that kind of attitude. Though I think the discussion here should really focus on the sets and not the scene setting, if that's all right with everyone? Quote

Sorry, didn't mean to have an attitude, just didn't want another discussion like Flama's gender. Edited February 12, 2016 by Mr Greeble Quote
BrickFit26 Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Nexo Knights.... I'm just here for the villains! This theme has created some of the best villains to date. On the flip side, it's also some of the worst heroes. They are are almost polar opposites of each other. The heroes are all teched out in new armor and the the villains are running around with minimal clothing. I hope the plant (water) villains come to fruition. They look absolutely incredible. I agree, the villains are awesome, I want the plant/water villains to become a reality already so i can get the,. but i also like the knights too. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I'm more interested in the villains and all the different varieties there are in Knighton, also I'm a little bummed that the only way to get Burnzie, is buying Axel's tower, which is only an okay set. Quote

From a Castle point of view, that set is bad, but from a sci-fi view, I think it looks really, really good! Also, the minifig selection is quite a plus too. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 I've painfully convinced myself that I don't need to get Burnzie and Sparkks... You can buy Sparkks for $20 or so on eBay, not too bad really. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 (edited) Lots of photos from the toy fair (from ninjago thread), nothing new, but some prices if you have nexo eyes http://toynewsi.com/...rt=160&sl=25949 No surprise, Castle 120$.Tower 70$. Aero striker 30$ Edited February 13, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Anyone knows what's the price of Magmar's Siege Machine of Doom (love that name)? Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Probably 50. Some hope for 40. Not confirmed Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Probably 50. Some hope for 40. Not confirmed ok 50$ sounds reasonable enough to me. Great looking set and minifigs. Definitely worth this price Quote
Mr Greeble Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 $50 seems pretty reasonable, but I would be getting it no matter how much it was. Quote
BrickJagger Posted February 13, 2016 Author Posted February 13, 2016 Wow- Didn't think the Siege Engine would have so many pieces! I guess $50 would be reasonable. Brickshow has a up showcasing the Lava Lair. From what I can see, there's a rotating wall, spinning saw blade, trapdoor, armory, bathroom, treasury, prison, bedroom, room with a cauldron, storage room, throne room, and a cage in which what I assume is Robin's chicken is stored. 1186 parts. Vorkosigan Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 The original description of the Siege Machine of Doom mentioned it folds down into a tank like configuration. Has anyone seen any pictures of it in that configuration? Quote
kirkwoodproductions Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Has anyone made a custom Merlok minifigure yet using the Collectible Minifigures Wizard and Vitruvius' beard? Quote
benderisgreat Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Did anyone notice that Flama and Magmar look different in Ultimates sets than they do in Siege Machine set? It's especially noticeable on Flama. This us weird to me ,since Beast Master and Lavaria look exactly the same in in Ultimates and regular sets. Quote

The Ultimate version of Lavaria has cracked lava patterns on her torso, the regular version does not. Also, the Ultimate version of Beast Master has leg armor with Globlin patterns, the regular version does not. Quote

BrickFit26 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I actually like that Flama is different in the set and as a ultimate. Quote
Colossus Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Has anyone made a custom Merlok minifigure yet using the Collectible Minifigures Wizard and Vitruvius' beard? Yes! 2 weeks ago. Also, there's a light blue wizard hat with a brim I slapped on him. Quote
Legojoey Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Hey friends, I'm a big Nexo Knight fan. I've really enjoyed this forum. Can anyone point me where to a person in the US can order the Nexo Knight magazine that comes with the Lance character? I believe it is only released in Europe? Quote

-Zond- Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Wow, where are the images of new monsters from? Forest monsters are awesome. And monstrox is probably that thing from Jestro Volcano base. That spinning thing with claws in the center. And maybe she is... like the mother of monsters? Quote

The pictures are from the real-life Book of Monsters, which has already been released in a few countries. Quote
