Amazing Bricks Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) http://www.dein-wohnstil.de/Nexo-Merlocks-Buecherei-20-Exklusiv-Ve If you search for Nexo you can see the other listings. A wizard library probably but at least its not "mobile" or "robo." Ooh, now that's got to be a cool set. Wizards and kings? I'm starting to think Klaus was wrong when saying sci fi meets castle. I think it sounds more like castle meets sci fi. He didn't see the sets right? These set names give me hope but I'm scared for pictures. These have to be exclusives, there were three to four other exclusives for this theme mentioned. Rolling fortress must be the mobile fortress I've heard of. I also see a set in there called chaos coach monster masher, now we can expect a stagecoach for this theme. Edited September 16, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
thetang22 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) Yeah, quite a few new set names, from the looks of it: Ultimate Monster Master (translate came up as "MasTer", not the "MasHer" that's listed in the original post. Chaos Coach Monster Master Fortrex - The Rolling Fortress Merlocks Library (exclusive) The Mech King And a few odd-ball items: Nexo Innovations Display (small and standard) Nexo Sweepstakes Package Nexo Window Decoration Nexo Lama Edited September 16, 2015 by thetang22 Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) Nice work! That site's got prelims. For 2015 stuff. Edited September 16, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote
danth Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Nexo The Mech king If this line is named after a guy who is the King of Mechs, that means this line is about Mechs. Which is awesome! Quote
thetang22 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 If this line is named after a guy who is the King of Mechs, that means this line is about Mechs. Which is awesome! I wouldn't read too much into "Nexo" being the name of The Mech King. Basically every set on the site has the word "Nexo" at the front of it...so there's a very good chance the set is simply called "The Mech King". Quote
Kalhiki Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Nexo Lama Does the Nexo Lama fight the Robo Horse? Interesting names. Mech King and the Library sound cool. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) Real news! Library, eh? Interesting. I wonder if the "gotta catch 'em all" mcguffin for this theme is a bunch of books or scrolls, either with magic spells or blueprints (depending on how tech-heavy the theme is) that the villain is trying to bring together, similar to the story for Elves, Monster Fighters, Atlantis, Infinity Gauntlet, (and so forth) with the library serving as a central place for these things, like Atlantis' portal, the Elves' sky castle, etc. Edited September 16, 2015 by rodiziorobs Quote
Vorkosigan Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Does the Nexo Lama fight the Robo Horse? There are other LEGO "lama" on the site, my guess is some sort of store display. Perhaps a member who speaks German has some insight? Quote

Er...Welp, I'm an idiot. :) Oh well, if there's a Mech King maybe it's still good news. Or maybe it's just King Mech and he's the only one with a mech? Quote
Robert8 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Mech King??? Are you kidding me?   Quote
Artanis I Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I was reading it like "murloc library" Quote
dzidek1983 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I just wonder if LEGO has deals with so many different brands, why cant they make a good one for the next castle set. Someone argued before that Lego Castle lacks good themes to follow and i disagree. Just as an example. Lego Dungeons and Dragons "Forgotten Realms" or Lego Heroes of Might and Magic. There are so many more great fantasy-medieval themes out there and they camu up with mechanical knights :/ Quote
MAB Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Nexo-Merlocks Bücherei 2.0 Exklusiv Ve - Google Translate: Nexo Merlocks Library 2.0 Exclusive Ve Its encouraging to see mention of a building finally, especially something civilian like a library. I guess it depends where the word Bücherei comes from. If it has hastily been translated from another language, it could mean a library as in the building, but it could also be library as in an encyclopedia (so a book) or a library of functions (as in software or an app). Sorrelon Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 So I've been doing some searching and found some interesting tidbits on a german site. No pictures yet, but some set listings that appear to be new. Nexo-Merlocks Bücherei 2.0 Exklusiv Ve - Google Translate: Nexo Merlocks Library 2.0 Exclusive Ve Its encouraging to see mention of a building finally, especially something civilian like a library. Nexo-Fortrex - Die rollende Festung - Google Translate: Nexo Fortrex - The rolling fortress I know we've seen the "mobile fortress" mentioned before, but I don't think it was in the amazon listings so here is another confirmation. Nexo-Der Mech des Königs - Google Translate: Nexo The Mech king Nexo sweepstakes package Monster, Jan 20 With description: Nexo Knights sweepstakes package Monster hunting Content: 1x Poster 50x70cm 4x wobler lettered 1x Dispenser for participation brochures 100x participation brochures A5 postcards with 100x Power Shield DIN A6 Nice find! Although, from what I remember of the German language, "Der Mech des Königs" means "The King's Mech", instead of "The Mech King". Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Ok, someone I know has seen the pictures. I will keep you updated. Quote
kabel Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 A little correction (google translator only serves americans too lazy to learn a foreign language!): Der Mech des Königs = the king's mech Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 A little correction (google translator only serves americans too lazy to learn a foreign language!): Der Mech des Königs = the king's mech I am not german but is not "The Kings' Mech"? Quote

thetang22 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 google translator only serves americans too lazy to learn a foreign language! Or people who know several languages, but not the one that needs translated Quote
kabel Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Sorry mate, but most Americans I know, (I've lived in the US for some two years) don't know more but a few words of a foreign Language ... Quote
thetang22 Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 No worries. This new info about the sets is pretty cool. Kinda nice to have something of substance to talk about on page 100 of the thread :) I also think these new set names do make this theme feel a bit more grounded. Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 But what happened to the old names? Are these new sets a separate wave, or just ones we hadn't heard of before? Quote
Mike S Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 @kabel - Your comment about Americans being too lazy to learn a foreign language is quite lame. Unfortunately up until a few years ago, knowledge of a foreign language had little utilization here unlike English which is widely used worldwide. Unless you have use a language on a daily basis it is rather pointless to learn a language other than for bragging rights. Also I know quite a few people that are fluent in secondary languages, mostly Spanish and Mandarin, but not one that knows German. Quote
