CM4Sci Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) How many parts would you say are in that castle? Projected price? At least 700, maybe it'll be $80? Ages say 9-14 so that might be an indication. The mini fire monsters' arms appear to be separate pieces you can take off. That's cool. Edited September 20, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote
Robert8 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 How many parts would you say are in that castle? Projected price? Mmm... Maybe CM4Sci or just2good could help us with this one because I really have no idea about the amount of pieces. And I suck at guessing prices Quote
The_Fiery_Rooster Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Does the bull knight have an ultimate set, or is Fortex the only way to get him? Quote
Robert8 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Does the bull knight have an ultimate set, or is Fortex the only way to get him? He is exclusive to Fortrex, as far as I can see. The Ultimates are Clay, Aaron, Robin (short legs) and Macy. Edited September 20, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) Does the bull knight have an ultimate set, or is Fortex the only way to get him? Fortex is the only way to get him. I don't think I ever described the Ultimate sets. Beast Master has a propeller with chains/orange balls at the ends. Accessories are the Ultra Agents drill 'glove' and a unique shield. Lavaria appears to be a woman with Chima bat wings and has a spider body with new pieces as legs. Accessories are a spear and a unique shield. Lots and lots of shields. Robert8 Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 It's interesting to point out that every character seems to have an unique design. Quote
The_Fiery_Rooster Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Aww... he's the one I liked the most. Oh well, I guess I'll have to buy Fortex. Quote
SirBlake Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I don't see why everyone's hating on this, I love it! Though I have always been really fond of the whole science fantasy type thing like this theme. (P.S. Why do people hate on Chima as well? I thought that those sets were pretty cool.) That's going to come down to a matter of taste. I think Cima is silly and completely uninteresting. That doesn't make you wrong, just different. Quote

CM4Sci Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 You sure those are final? Those could be the European versions. Has there been an instance where names have been different from Europe from US? Quote
BrickJagger Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Has there been an instance where names have been different from Europe from US? Yeah, a few times. Not to frequent though. I think the Orient Expedition sets had some alternate names a while back. So, many inches wide/long is Fortrex? Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Lavaria sounds like a totally awesome minifigure! I can't wait to see her. The new set names sound more final and more typical of set names, so I doubt it's a regional difference. Zombie Chef is quite an odd choice for a placeholder character. Perhaps the Fortrex has a cook? Also, it sounded stupid at first, but Fortrex is actually a pretty clever name, combining "fortress" with rex, which is Latin for "king". It's basically a futuristic way to say the overused name "King's Castle"! Edited September 21, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote
Gadzooks Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Has there been an instance where names have been different from Europe from US? Dino Attack (US) and Dino 2010 (UK) had different builds, but I don't know about the names. Quote

CM4Sci forgot to say Lavaria has a black hood, red headpiece and yellow eyes (somewhat similar to Darth Maul) The crest in the shield seems to a beetle Edited September 21, 2015 by Robert8 Quote

Robert8 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Lava spider lady...cool! What does her body look like? Is it the usual octagonal plate with these new legs attached? Impossible to tell from that angle (And I'm not sure it's a woman. Maybe CM4Sci knows something we don't know, but it doesn't look like a woman to me) Quote
Robert8 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 The name sounds like a woman. Perharps. One woman for each side. Sounds legit. By the way, very good point about the Fortrex name. Pretty clever, 8BrickMario Quote

Maybe CM4Sci knows something we don't know, but it doesn't look like a woman to me) I'm pretty sure we have the same images, I see lipstick and eyelashes. Don't you? Her/his set also has one of the new TFA blasters (whether it's a stud or spring shooter I don't know) so that's good. They're also appearing in the Friends and Elves sets. Also it's a grey robot chef, not a zombie. Edited September 21, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote
BrickJagger Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Why is it that Merlok and the King, who you would expect to be pretty important characters, only appear in the store exclusive sets? Quote
Robert8 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Why is it that Merlok and the King, who you would expect to be pretty important characters, only appear in the store exclusive sets? And they are not even featured in the cover pic, with all the main characters Really odd, indeed. Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Why is it that Merlok and the King, who you would expect to be pretty important characters, only appear in the store exclusive sets? Technically Merlok appears as a hologram in the Fortrex set. Quote
