Dr.Cogg Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I like Jestro, but I think he looks better in his original colors. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 So do we know if jestro has the same checkered style hat like the jester from series 12? Quote
Rayskull Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Anyone have a link to the vid that had ultimates in it? I watched everything I could find didn't see any? Quote
Gadzooks Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 (edited) Anyone have a link to the vid that had ultimates in it? I watched everything I could find didn't see any? Don't have a video link, but here are Lance and Clay: imgur.com/BYJIprz.png Edited October 20, 2015 by Gadzooks Quote
BrickJagger Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Just found this: http://www.thetoyinsider.com/lego-nexo-knights-nycc-reveal/ Looks like the regular sized baddie's name is "Ash Attacker" and the little red guys are "Scurriers". The chef also has a name but I can't make it out. Quote

Gadzooks Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I post the first comment in a day, and suddenly, news! Does anyone else think the TNRO looks redder than it used to be? Or is that just the pictures? Quote
x105Black Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Funny that the Merlok 2.0 Banner with Sticker is listed with the minifigures. Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Funny that the Merlok 2.0 Banner with Sticker is listed with the minifigures. The Book of Monsters is listed as a minifigure on the Jestro box. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Super cool box! Im starting to doubt that Merlok 2.0 will ever come into minifigure form. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Funny that the Merlok 2.0 Banner with Sticker is listed with the minifigures. That's just ridiculous Quote
Rayskull Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 That's an awesome box... Keeper right there. Don't have a video link, but here are Lance and Clay: imgur.com/BYJIprz.png I thought all that was on Clay's back at first... Sooo Lance gets a Unicorn? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Where is everyone seeing a Unicorn? Is it the Lance everyone is talking about? I don't see it, and I've stared at that picture disappointingly long. :sceptic ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Lance has giant wings. That 'horse head' is his shield. Quote
Karateduo1 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I know we have talked about the ultimate knight figures and that they come with armor attachments; but what do the ultimate lava monsters come with? We know Lavaria has spider legs which could be seen as an equivalent, but we have seen the minifig of Beast master whom does not come with any armor, so what does he get? Quote

I don't see it, and I've stared at that picture disappointingly long. :sceptic ~Insectoid Aristocrat I finally see it as it is, the way I saw it; Lance's legs are the front legs, his spear is the Unicorn horn, shield horse head. Wings in the Unicorn back, Clay's legs Unicorn back legs. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 The toyinsider link above has this set description which I love: "The set includes five scannable shields for NEXO Powers: Ground Power, Super Human Speed, Hawk Holler, Chicken Power and Charging Attack." You can see the shields on the corner of the boxart. Chicken power (!)...I think I need this set just for this, not to mention all the magnificent dark blue and scads of new part designs. Quote
Kraby Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) Sometimes I really wish I had space to keep the boxes. This one looks gorgeous. But oh well, I don't think that will happen anytime soon, since I currently have all Monster Fighters sets, all Age of Ultron sets, all Star Wars 7 sets, all Scooby-Doo sets, all Jurassic World sets, some random DC/Marvel/SW sets, Temple of Airjitzu, and soon all Nexo Knights sets, patiently waiting (in my old room at my parents house) to be built due to lack of space... He has rotating spinning wrecking balls (small) on his back. Like a propeller but with chains on the end. Quote
JimDude Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 No matter how hard I try when looking at the box-art of the Fortrex, I can NOT stop seeing the "Creation of Adam" from Da Vinci's Sistine Chapel roof painting in the lava from the volcano. I'm sure that's just me Quote
Aanchir Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) The Book of Monsters is listed as a minifigure on the Jestro box. That's just ridiculous Take note that listings on boxes like this are generally for characters, not minifigures specifically. So for example, Knowhere Escape Mission's box lists Groot with the other characters, because while he is not a minifigure, he is a character. Conversely, Temple of Airjitzu's box does not list the statue of Sensei Yang with the other minifigures, because despite being a minifigure, it is not a character. So with that in mind, it makes perfect sense for Merlok 2.0 and the Book of Monsters to be listed on the boxes of their respective sets. Edited October 21, 2015 by Aanchir Quote
Exetrius Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I suspect that the model of Fotrex shown at NYCC was still not 100% finished. I remember the blue shields on the towers and the gunmetal sheild in the middle being blank, while they have decorations now. Or someone just forgot to put the stickers on... Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 The fat little Scurriers are demonically cute. I like the sound of the Fortrex. A round table is nice, but why is there a Book of Evil, too? What's next? A Book of Magic? A Book of Power? A Book of Classic Castle Fans who Hate Nexo Knights (Not That There's Anything Wrong With That)? Quote
