The presence of a round table in Fortrex is quite nice. I imagine it's probably used as both a place for strategy meetings and dining, which would explain the chefbot. Between that and the separately-sold library set, Fortrex is moving even closer to my dream of a non-licensed LEGO castle that's actually livable. Weird that the futuristic cyber-castle that's obviously bristling with firepower comes closer to my ideal of a castle as a home and sanctuary than more traditional castles. 7946 and 70404 look much more "homey" and less aggressive from the outside, but feature little interior detail besides a throne room, dungeon, and treasury. And classic castles generally have even fewer amenities for their inhabitants.

That bigger castle is still there in the backdrop of the box art. I wonder if that might end up showing up in a set. Most multi-wave themes tend to have their biggest sets in the summer, and some of the recent "big bang" themes like Ninjago and Legends of Chima regularly have their flagship sets hit the $120 price point, so it'd surprise me if the $100 Fortrex is the largest Nexo Knights set we're getting this year (even though that would be pretty typical for a more traditional Castle theme). Of course, it's also possible that this summer's hypothetical $120 set might be some kind of evil stronghold and Knighton Castle would be saved for a future year.

Is it just me, or does the castle in the background kind of resemble a spaceship, because it looks like it has a cockpit on the top, two large engines as towers and small wings on the side.

I really hope that giant castleship ends up as a D2C at some point. To keep it reasonably in scale with Fortrex (compare Sensei Yang's temple as a set with the version in the show), it'd need to have a $200 price tag at least. But from the looks of it, it's one of the coolest spaceship designs LEGO has made. Seriously, tell me that main tower isn't a cockpit with little laser gun chelicerae.

Honestly, I can see the Castle of Knighton being a $150 set (yet not D2C, like the TFA Millennium Falcon).

I mean normally Winter wave sets only reach a price point of $80, yet Fortrex has hit the $100 price point already! Come Summer, they would need to release a set that looks and feels substantially larger than the Fortrex.

Think Nindroid MechDragon compared to The Battle for Ninjago City for the substantial difference I mean.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fortrex is $100 and Monster Podracer is $30? Need to know for something.

Fortrex is $100 for sure. And I can't see the Chaos Chariot being any more than $30.

Had an odd dream last night, I was at some random store and they had display shelves and were selling Nexo Knights sets, though the boxes had unfinished models and giant prelim marks, and they wouldn't sell anything to me.

Must be more excited than I thought. :look:

For that price I'd buy them all without any second thoughts.

Mystery solved. It seems that Macy won't be the one using the 2x4 rounded "dress brick", because the Series 15 Classic Queen will.

I'm guessing that this means Macy will have it in a future set.

Possibly... but let's not forget that when kids buy Nexo Knights, they'll generally want KNIGHTS—with all the armor, weapons and accessories that entails. The same principle applies to Ninjago—after so many years of the theme, we've STILL never gotten any of the ninja dressed in anything other than their ninja garb, and while it'd certainly be a shame, it would not surprise me if the same applies to Nexo Knights.

That's not to say that it's impossible for Macy to appear in another set in her princess attire. But just because a design appears in the TV show doesn't guarantee that it'll appear in a set, and Ninjago's precedent is reason enough to maintain a healthy level of skepticism.

I'm sure that there are kids (boys and girls both) who would welcome a princess. And while you may be right about the Ninjago precedent, 'Castle' themes almost always have a princess. I'd be more surprised if they didn't do it, especially after seeing both the image from the show and the Queen minifigure.

Then again, I didn't think they'd make a futuristic Castle theme to begin with, so what do I know?

Is the little girl not a princess?

I'm not sure, but she doesn't have that 'princess' look, with the fancy dress. Not that I think all Castle themes need these characters, just that they typically are included and almost expected.
