Amazing Bricks Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I'm positive a summer set will be a village raid. We'll get two to three villagers, kind of like the kingdoms mill village raid set. Imagine that. Quote

x105Black Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Do you guys think that we'll get any villagers in future sets? Some of them don't have any tech influence at all. I'd love that. Hopefully the sets they come in would also lack tech influences. Although, while the villagers don't have tech influences, some of them don't look all that medieval. This guy would be perfect for medieval: This guys colors might not fit in quite as well: Still, I'd prefer him to any of the Knights. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 (edited) I think it's indeed probable we get some villagers in wawe 2 (in wawe 1 we got already the queen and the little girl for the knights to save, and even the king who apparently is not a fighter). If you watch the Heroes needed video, around 00.04 you will see a lot of civilians, often in double, including the 2 posted by x105Black, I guess it will be probably one (or two pretty please) of them. The farmbot would be sweet as well !!! and some village sceneries would be lovely, a small trolley maybe like in Ninjago wu dragon or like in the last video at 00.04 ... not that much proper structures compare to vehicles in wawe 1, I am afraid Lego is too well aware 6 years old boy would prefer a giant horse transforming into a bike rather than a bakery or a school like Lego Elves got... a futuristic blacksmith/mecchanic with a horse hover could be nice as well... Aanchir Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Nexo Knights site got another small update today: a downloadable poster of Jestro and the Book of Monsters. Man, LEGO really turned up the creepy factor with those two. I love how the Book of Monsters' tongue is one of those ribbons you find in certain books to help you hold your place! Saw some prelim box art for some of the Nexo Knights sets today. The Robo-Horse's motorcycle mode actually seems to look really good, possibly good enough to make up for its slightly clunky horse mode. I think the deciding factor would be how smooth the actual transformation function is. I'll agree that getting a Nexo Knights set with some civilians would be really sweet for a future wave! Quote

Do tell where you saw the prelim for the robo horse as i really want to see the bike mode to see if the transformation in my head is close or not. Quote
CM4Sci Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 They really need to make that jester cap, it's so awesome! Quote
BrickFit26 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I agree, I want that Jester cap badly. I love how it looks specially with the added detail of the stitching. Perhaps in the summer wave. Quote
Robert8 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Why do LEGO keep deceiving us with that inverted jester hat in the artworks? Quote

Only con I can say about it is how comically low the seating is. I would welcome a civilian set in the summer wave, I can only imagine how they would pull it off! Quote
CM4Sci Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Oh whoa whoa whoa, why are the faces printed so high up on the Chaos Chariot? They look so weird now. . . Also, the Ultimate sets have transparent versions of the knight armor! Awesome! Oh, and I knew I was right when I looked before, but the bad guys have a new piece for their shield, it's like a rocky version of the normal one. Edited November 13, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 So, the final box images are out there. I have to say that the bike looks pretty good and I never thought it would have a side car for the squire-bot. It also has 2 flick fire missiles and storage for Lance's weapon. Other sets look...pretty much the same to my eyes. Quote
Kraby Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Was waiting for Lance's bike mode ! Finally. It looks pretty good. Guess I'll be buying all the sets after all. Maybe multiple of some... Quote
dannallcorn Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I was right about the transformation :) it looks good in both modes tbh but the bike mode is awesome plus with the "side car" bit for the lancebot its even more of a must. Quote

Yup, I don't know why they thought it to be a good idea to move them upwards, it looks bad now :( About the shields, I pointed that out on page 184 allready :P But HO-LY CRAP! Have a look at those shields of Lavaria and Beast master. Not the collectible inlays, just the shields. Wow... WOW! For those who don't have pictures: those pieces are black and follow the same shape design as the black helmets of the lava baddies. Quote
Kalhiki Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Wow, these sets keep looking better and better. Especially the horse. The horse itself I still don't think looks too great, but the Trike more than makes up for it. That thing looks sweet. And the fact it transforms into a horse is even better. Gotta love 2-in-1 sets. TheLazyChicken Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 If there is a village raid, that's going to be my favorite Nexo Knights set so far! The Robo-Horse is currently on my wanted list, Jestor's vehicle doesn't look that bad and I may consider getting it. The ultimates are probably something I will get for their armor, I may use those to upgrade the armor for Galaxy Squad. Quote
DraikNova Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I like all of them now, even the horse. It may look a little weird, but its transformation amuses me for some reason. Also, I don't see the issue regarding the Chaos Chariot's faces. They look fine to me. Quote
maginnster27 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) After finding the Images of a Website that I can not state(Yet still leave non-subtle clues about) I can say that The way The Vehicle looks are very nice in their final form especially lances robo transformation appears to be amazingly smooth and crisp, over all great and If the future setting is to overwhelming for some I believe that many of the Villains sets would fit in Nicely with a Castle Fantasy Theme, So overly all I really enjoy these, probably going to pick up 3 sets just to have all 5 knights(Those being the Fortex, The Pacman Podracer and RoboHorse -4-Law-and-Order XD, and possible Lavaria just for the look of the figure) Edited November 13, 2015 by maginnster27 Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 That's almost crossing a line, but I needed the hint, so...thanks? These pictures change nothing since the only new feature shown here is Lance's bike mode...which looks much better than the horse mode! We've seen high-quality pics of the sets before. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Thank you !! Is it me or the Nexo Knight, as Chima focus more on playability, and Ninjago more on vehicle/dragon design ? I am very happy with the diversity of vilains, but I will have knights by the dozen... I wish they make some little change ala scooby doo like : new faces, bruise or even burn will be appropriate For Chaos Chariot, so the giant mouth open not with the chains but while the vehicle is moving ? Do you think the red faces will be print or stickers ? I feel they got their inspiration from Warhammer squig Edited November 13, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote

CM4Sci Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Yeah, I don't like the raised faces as I said before. Prelim catalog ones looked a lot better. Quote
Exetrius Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 (edited) Do you think the red faces will be print or stickers ? It's a dome-shaped piece, so a print. Edit: @CM4Sci that's indeed what I mean't, thanks for the lovely drawing! :P Edited November 13, 2015 by Exetrius Quote
