I didn't expect to stir up such controversy! I think the issue here is that as has been pointed out there will always be some that may take offence to some toys. I am not saying they are justified or unjustified but just remember the people that do tend to get offended will SHOUT about it and that's what LEGO doesn't like.

And officially Jabba's palace may n have been pulled but we are all grown ups here, lets be brutally honest, that set was pulled.

But more on topic, I've heard the 18th December as a possible date.

December 18 or January 1 does not really make a heck of a difference to me in the end. The lead up to Christmas is busy enough that I'll have plenty to fill my (and my kids) time; and judging by the recent weather report a third of that will be shoveling snow. :) If nothing else, it gives me more time to squirrel away some more cash and work on my Nexo MOC idea.

Jabba's Palace was discontinued right on schedule. LEGO just made it seem like an early discontinuation to please the offended party. So, they did not pull it early at all.

Anyway, I think it's sorta cool how these creatures are borderline demonic. While I wouldn't appreciate a controversy, I like that LEGO's pushing it with this theme.

Also, the "demons" in this case are the bad guys. So if anyone is offended at their inclusion, I'd suspect them of being demon sympathizers.

Demons are people Too XD, But back on track ( It rhymed so it has to be true...) I just want to now if on the Beast Master Chariot set, the lava beast mouths move if it has a Wheel underneath or if You must do it Manually.

I'm sure Satanists will boycott this theme then. :look:

But seriously, I do need to grab a few of these "lava monsters" for exactly that purpose.

Fundamentalists, i.e. the one group likely to get angry for something like this anyway, are known for attacking franchises for the morals of the villain anyway...There's an obvious joke there, but I don't want anyone to take it the wrong way.

This is lego, morals of the villains don't go beyond a He-man Cartoon or The power Rangers, But sadly I must agree

'Kay, getting into iffy territory and yes it was partially my fault. So can we step away.

Any pics out there from a legitimate source yet?

Any pics out there from a legitimate source yet?

Well....there are official pics of 70316 and 70317 from NYCC. After that, as CM4Sci sais, it depends on what you count as official. There was the Italian online retailer that posted pics of the sets which were deemed unacceptable for disclosure by Eurobricks. However, Brickset (who are extremely picky about leaked images) posted the existence of the pictures on the site and invited it's readers to check it out. There is also another site that does price comparisons for various sets that has images and these are not watermarked. I don't want to cause any trouble by mentioning names, but as far as I know non-watermarked images of all sets are out there. Up to you mods if you want to post or allow links to them.

Given the UK release date of January 1st, we should have official picks on Lego's website in a month or so. Earlier than that if any other retailers like TRU release the sets early.

These images are thumbnails from LEGO's own cache, they were linked here and then LEGO deleted them from the cache. So they are from a legitimate source but not supposed to be seen...

Yeaah. I was asking about the cache ones, I have no idea how people dig those out. Last year no one though to post the Action Theme cache pics in thread, so I had to find some for the first post well after the fact.

If you mean the one I thing you do, I'm pretty sure that's not the kind of official Peppermint meant, 'cause it sais "no leak no pic" when there's no pic.

As far as I know all the sites with pics are Voldemort here

-edit: except the 'con reveal

When they're uploaded I'll post them.

It seems like we are waiting unusually long this year for set images or am I just getting more impatient as I get older? :sceptic: I just want to get my hands on some Nexo sets so I can animate them.

Pics should be out soon

I bet next week

The date for official Technic reviews is 1st of December.

I think that it will be then.

Missing King's Mech and a couple other sets, but here are all the shields so far.

Well then, They certainly look.......................Different? With the shear amount of them I wouldn't be surprised if they were stickers, but looking at the pictures I cant make a good judgement. After counting it seems that there is 26 unique shields ,at least that we know of, so far.
