ChristopheQ Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I think I found another new vehicle. At the end of the Lance character video, there's a small, four-wheeled object rolling towards the Fortrex in the top left corner. Wonder what that is? It could be the chaos catapult no ? Quote
Rayskull Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 A shame...that it comes after Christmas. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I really can't wait to get my hand on some of these sets. Specially the ultimates. Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Somewhat late to the party, but figured I'd weigh in on the sets now that we have detailed pics. The Ultimate sets look decent to good for the most part. I like them better than the "game" impulse sets that Ninjago and Chima have released in the past. Lavaria, Clay and Macy are the stand-outs to me. Blaster & Catapult sets are just "meh" to me. I neither like, nor dislike them. The Infernox and Merlock's Library sets look to be good value for money with multiple builds, good minifig selections and interesting features. The horse/bike thing looks pretty good and I like that the designers went for something different there. The Chaos Chariot is my least favorite set in the bunch. And as for set 70327: As Victor Newman would say "That's a damn good looking mech". Finally: EDIT: Huw will be reviewing a Nexo Knights set on Brickset this weekend. I'd like to take your comment at face value and I don't want to be "That Guy", but where did you get this information? I don't see anything posted about it on Brickset. Plus, that site is notoriously sensitive about leaked information, images, etc. Unless Lego sent him a set to review, but even then would it not be unusual for them to allow a review to be posted almost a month before the sets are released at retail? I've seen Brickset review sets on the date of release but never so far in advance. If this actually happens, then great but I'm setting my expectations very low until I actually see something on the site. Quote
Rayskull Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I think he has little to gain by deceiving us. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Chill, you guys, it's at the bottom of this article. Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I think he has little to gain by deceiving us. Chill, you guys, it's at the bottom of this article. My apologies. I was questioning the source as I completely missed the comments in that article on Brickset (they buried the Nexo Knights news in an article about Advent Calendars). Thanks BrickJagger for bringing the news to the board and to Sci for the information and clearing that up for me! Looking forward to the review. Given that Brickset has a set(s) in hand, I wonder if the sets will start hitting retail shelves sooner than the formal release dates announced for Lego Stores? Quote
Robert8 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 First Nexo Knight review! I hope it will be the King's Mech or Fortrex Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) Fortrex would be sweet. A logical guess (if the set was not randomly pick up) will be Lance horse. Average size, emblematic of the wave, Mysterious transformation. Edited December 1, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote
Robert8 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) O__O Edited December 1, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I hope it will be the King's Mech or Fortrex I can confirm, it's a polybag. O__O don't be too sad, maybe it's robin mini fortrex Quote
TheBrickPal Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 (edited) It's the Knight's Cycle, since I know Huw only owns that set. If Rex is doing the review, though, then there's still a slight chance of it being the Mini Fortrex. Edited December 1, 2015 by Puffle Pal26 Quote

The article mentioned that they had received other 2016 sets, is it possible that a new NK set was sent to them? Edited December 1, 2015 by Dr_Chronos Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Seems odd that they sent ONE set. I say it's a polybag, it makes sense. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 I like video reviews, so i can't wait to see some of them. I'd like to see the Fortrex review first, or any of the ultimates. Quote
Exetrius Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Was about to post that! The store calendar shows a NK promotional pack and finally reveals that the shield inlays attach to the shields like 2x2's on a 2x2 jumper plate, which I think is nice. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 We still need to see the back of the shields. I know they have two studs to be used as a hover shield and a bar, but not specifically how it looks. Quote
BrickJagger Posted December 1, 2015 Author Posted December 1, 2015 Is he exclusive? Sort of. Looks like he has Ash Attacker's legs and a generic torso. His head might be Crust Smasher's, but it's blurred out. Quote
Chilly_Productions Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 https://www.flickr.c...ous/22827394883 Is the same offer in the UK?. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 That intro pack looks pretty awesome. Quote
Aethersprite Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Apparently Brickset has some NK sets already, and they'll be posting reviews starting this weekend! http://brickset.com/...alendar-Reviews Quote
Dr_Chronos Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) New short released, "Champion of Chivalry": http://www.lego.com/en-us/videos/themes/nexoknights/champion-of-chivalry-7f986d0003a14dff90e99c25613fc6a3#?sp=138 Whoops. Wrong thread. I'm still getting used to this whole separate thread thing, apologies. Edited December 2, 2015 by Dr_Chronos Quote
