Aanchir Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Omigosh, the spherical lava monsters are called globlins! And one of the swords in the Fortrex set is called Techalibur! Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Flama has a dress slope. Whiparella has the tail. Flama with ninjago ghost legs would have been nice as well. Quote

Still Raindrop Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Missed opportunity, should have been Texcalibur. That just makes me think of a sword with a cowboy hat. Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I know. It sounds better, but the spelling is worse. Quote
Exetrius Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Hemo-globlins ? That... should become the theme of an enemy! The blood knights and blood rituals! (never happening though because of policy reasons ) Quote
maginnster27 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) Saw this in the description which is seems to be very good,I believe it works by pushing on the button on the back of the chariot,so overall, pretty excited for this set! Turn the chariot's control function to open and close the giant Globlins' jaws Edited December 3, 2015 by maginnster27 Quote

As the description says, it seems to work by TURNING the center bit so that it alternately pulls and releases the chains attached to the Globlins. Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Some people have been saying December, but I think those are for the mini episodes. The real episodes do indeed come out in January. Quote
The_Fiery_Rooster Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 What luck! I plan on getting both of those sets. I hope I can catch them when they're there. Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Toys R Us has added the Fortrex and Chaos Chariot to their online shop. They are not available for pre order yet, but you can get a notification when they're available. http://t.toysrus.com...F:71323986:TRUS http://t.toysrus.com...F:71323876:TRUS Huh. Both listings have been taken down. Now, I think that at this point in time (given the Jan 1st release date and the fact that all set images are now known to the public), it has nothing to do with Lego cracking down on retailer leaks. So, either TRU themselves decided it was too early to put up a pre-order on the site or whomever did the update screwed up and only put up 2 of the sets. In that case, perhaps they took the 2 down so they could re-do the page with all of the sets on it...? I guess we will know in the next few days. Quote
frog4gators Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Does anyone know if the shields are stickers or printed? Quote
BricksrDamian2 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Does anyone know if the shields are stickers or printed? STICKERS :/ Some people have been saying December, but I think those are for the mini episodes. The real episodes do indeed come out in January. I hope they show teasers of ninjago 2016! Quote
Dr_Chronos Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Seeing the Fortrex at this angle has finally convinced me to get it. At first I was a little disappointed about the base mode, but now I can see how much it resembles a castle gate. Really like how well it was executed. Quote

At first I was a little disappointed about the base mode, but now I can see how much it resembles a castle gate. Really like how well it was executed. Had the same reaction seeing this pic. This setup looks really cool. Still think the more "angled" setup with library attached doesn't look good at all. Not sure if I'll display it fully opened like this, or in rolling castle mode. Quote
DraikNova Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 That is even better than I already thought it was. Quote
Junior Shark Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) Y'know, when I first saw these, I thought they were gonna be a pass for me. Now, with more and more pics of the sets coming out, they're really starting to grow on me. Prepare yourself, wallet! Edited December 4, 2015 by Junior Shark Quote

That's the case with most things, but when I saw the early preliminaries I was Instantly hooked Quote
