Kwatchi Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I went by the Walmart near my office yesterday (Kanata,ON) at lunch. The Lego shelf looked like a soviet grocery, with hardly anything left. So it doesn't shock me that these are being put out early; stores need something to sell. No luck yet, but I'm working from home today so I may take a quick recon tour at some point. Update Dec 16 - SO I CAN CONFIRM: Nabbed a Lance's Robo-Horse from Walmart (in Canada) late this morning (TY Nexo Santa!). They also had Moltor's Lava Launcher(s) and the Blade Cruiser(s) on the shelf. Didn't see the Chariot. During a chat with an asst. manager who was stocking the aisle at the time, she mentionend two things of interest. 1) They were knowlingly putting it out early and as soon as they arrived, and 2) they had received one case that contained these three sets and had put the entire content out. If you are a Canadian AFOL with interest buying these a few weeks early, I'd go in the next day or so. Edited December 16, 2015 by Kwatchi Quote
DraikNova Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Oh, I want that black Scurrrier! Why didn't they use it? *crosses fingers for summer wave* Yeah, that black and orange Globlin is beautiful. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Yeah, that black and orange Globlin is beautiful. Moltor's minion :) Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Yeah, that black and orange Globlin is beautiful. I think the Globlins are the lava balls with faces, not the walking chubby minions. Quote
x105Black Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Fantasy Castle theme with a sprinkling of Steampunk in the mix. Ha! That's what we all thought it was going to be, but the reveal of Nexo Knights was something completely different. It's an interesting article, for sure. I really appreciate being able to see the development of the theme, from concept to final. Not much really changed over the process, mostly subtle differences exist, although some of those differences are important. Thanks for posting the link here! dannallcorn Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Result thats a great way to sell the comic do the knights with their hair pieces. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Seing this comic, do you think guys we will get wawe 2 knights with a) helmet AND hair b) only hair c) only helmet d) a mix of that depending the sets ? Edited December 16, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Ninjago liked to provide both in a set, so I'd guess that's what would happen here. It's very impractical for a knight to flat-out not have a helmet. Quote

Hopefully a mix of both i want to be able to pose them as full knight and relaxed knight plus need macy's to allow for princess mode!! Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I checked the Ninjago ghost wawes, and if I am correct the hair pieces are only in the bounty (with the masks as well). As each knight should make 1, 2 or 3 appearance in the second wawe, my guess we could have one set for each with some hair pieces and helmet. Probably the expensive ones, or maybe one displaying them in a more relax setting (kindalike the one with Lance and food in the comic) ? Edited December 16, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote

Vorkosigan Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) I prefer the initial prototype sword in that article. EDIT: and now I realize its a Chima sword. Without the lion face it would be better. Edited December 17, 2015 by Vorkosigan Quote

I prefer the first concept sword. I think all 4 swords pictured are on the large side in scale. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I prefer the first concept sword. Oh, I'm sure you do. Checked Brickseek again today, every store around me gained at least 3 Merlok's Library 2.0s and have a lot of Rumble Blades. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I prefer the first concept sword. I think all 4 swords pictured are on the large side in scale. Agree but that's just an old sword. It would be nice if they brought it back if they could improve the chrome durability. Quote
BrickJagger Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 I prefer the first concept sword. I think all 4 swords pictured are on the large side in scale. Errr, because it's classic Castle, right? Quote
Rayskull Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Watched the first two episodes, the robo hench Knights are completely useless lol. I still like the figs though. Quote

I thought the same, it seems like they're there for entertainment purposes because they're rather clumsy. They're still cute though. Quote
