Robert8 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 JangBricks has a review of Clay's rumble blade up! Thanks for the link! I'm going to pass on this one... Quote
BrickJagger Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Thanks for the link. I'm also going to pass on this one, although it looks quite sleek compared to the prelims. Seeing the Lava Monsters up close really made me appreciate them for what they are. Ash Attacker is just perfect. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I'm also going to pass on this one, although it looks quite sleek compared to the prelims. I will pass as well, but my son should get it so I can steal him the minion and a bot for my Fortrex Seing how useless the bots are, If I were Clay am not sure I would like to give my 2 bikes... on Jang' review : much more complete than the chaos chariot review Very happy to see the shield, and Clay's secondary face is super angry ! dannallcorn Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Well thats me even more sold on Clays Rumble Blade. It looks great. Quote
NotMegalodon Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 That Rumble Blade just became a must have (already wanted it though). Quote
dannallcorn Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Merlok 2.0 app is now on the UK app store :) Quote
dannallcorn Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Just seen this on the Merlok app Macy has her own car. Quote
tom20arc Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Think I am going to pass on this theme. It's original but I like the old castle sets better (I got most of the sets from Castle I from 2000). Only set I might buy is the Jestro's Evil Mobile, that one looks really cool :-D The King's mech and Fortrex also looks cool but not sure if I'm going to buy those. Besides those 3 sets not really interested in the others. Quote
NotMegalodon Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Dutch prices spotted (i think some above msrp) Intertoys Quote
x105Black Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Errr, because it's classic Castle, right? Yes and no. Yes, because it does happen to be a classic Castle sword. No, because it just has a much better aesthetic. It isn't as ridiculously bulky. It doesn't have the trans neon red orange insert. It looks like a typical sword rather than a science fiction weapon. It's chrome. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Just seen this on the Merlok app Macy has her own car. Hmm. I hope we still get a mace-tailed fire dragon. Quote
Exetrius Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Dutch prices spotted (i think some above msrp) Intertoys http://www.brickshop.nl/lego/lego-nexo-knights.html Intertoys has better shipping conditions but often, Brickshop is cheaper, especially when they usually do 10-15% pre-order discount. Ardelon Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 So, do we know if the scurrier arms are compatible with minifigs? Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Update Dec 16 - SO I CAN CONFIRM: Nabbed a Lance's Robo-Horse from Walmart (in Canada) late this morning (TY Nexo Santa!). They also had Moltor's Lava Launcher(s) and the Blade Cruiser(s) on the shelf. Didn't see the Chariot. During a chat with an asst. manager who was stocking the aisle at the time, she mentionend two things of interest. 1) They were knowlingly putting it out early and as soon as they arrived, and 2) they had received one case that contained these three sets and had put the entire content out. If you are a Canadian AFOL with interest buying these a few weeks early, I'd go in the next day or so. Further to Kwatchi's earlier post, Amazon.ca now has the Lava Smasher, Rumble Blade and Chariot listed for sale with delivery by December 22nd. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Brickshow fortrex build video, review soon. It confirms my impression : it feels small (having a high brick density). After verification : 25x21x24cm for comparison the Bounty is 20$ more, but double the size (59x34x23) and double the minifigs (9 and 2 minions, compare to 4 and 3 minions). No cools armors nor big Axl, but the dragon is huge and way cooler than the villain "bike". But I will still buy it :) Edited December 17, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote

ChristopheQ Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Fortrex review : I like the build, my main complaint would be the long holes on both side walls (for the articulation of the transformation) on a side note : I really don't think the biggest flaw of Chima cartoons was the numbers (to high) of characters (as said on the review)... 8BrickMario Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Axl's assembly is interesting. So many play features, and the Fortrex just looks great. *sigh* There's another set I need... Quote
Aanchir Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Fortrex looks fantastic! I love how neatly everything folds up inside! The drawbridge mechanism is nice and smooth, and there are so many great features such as the kitchen and training area — things that traditional LEGO castles often lack. There's also a good selection of figures. Merlok in particular looks WAY better in this video than he did in the previous pictures we'd seen of him. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Whyyy on earth must I wait for Nexo Knights? I'm so excited for this! Quote
plasticpolymerlove Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 is just me or clay's helmet visor really look optimus prime-esque Quote
Robert8 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I'm so excited for this! We already noticed it Quote
