Hey Just2Good, I feel like you missed a significant detail in the Ultimate Robin review, which sort of explains why the blasters on his back are so bulky. I was just reading the product description of the set on barnesandnoble.com and it mentioned a feature that hadn't occurred to me: "Change his impressive spring-loaded shooter into robot legs to grow tall.... Whizz-kid Ultimate Robin loves dreaming up futuristic weapons—now watch him rise above his enemies on robot legs." I guess this just means you can angle the shooters down to work as legs, but that sort of casts them (and his "Mech Master" Nexo Power) in a new light! :classic:

the design of the front part make much more sense now, thanks, good find !!

I've noticed something about the sets in that the smaller one's seem to have similarities to the larger sets. For example:

Chaos Catapult could be seen as a smaller version of Jestro's Evil Mobile with one of the larger feature's gimmicks (lava catapult).

Knighton Battle Blaster is pretty much a smaller version of the Blade Cruiser's "Frame" vehicle in it's Ballista/Command Centre mode.

On one hand, interesting to have smaller, cheaper sets that mimick some features of the larger sets. But on the other hand, to me it causes some duplication. I'm not sure if the similarities were intentional on the part of the designers. Still, a good thing for anyone who is on a budget.

Thanks to Just2Good and everyone else for posting/sharing the reviews. The sets all look very good and I like the fact that there are so many sets available at so many different price points in this line. I'm looking forward to seeing reviews of the Jestro and Infernox sets (I think those are the only one's without a review on YouTube) sometime soon.

And for future reference (and not to toot my own horn  but I did call it) an "Official" release date of January 1st means that sets will be readily available mid-December. At least in North America anyways. Bless you Walmart, TRU, Target and B&N!

Currently in the progress on writing a pictorial review for the Jestro set, but knowing me, it probably won't surface until after Friday. Working on it though!

I am proud to say that I am now the owner of Chaos Catapult, Knighton Battle Blaster, Ultimate Lavaria, Beast Master's Chaos Chariot, and The Fortrex. :sweet:

Thanks to those who said they were at Barnes and Noble.

Also, you can call me Count Jag.

I'm sure I'm not the first to notice, but the app is now available in the Apple App Store (in the US)

Still none in the UK though :( unless anyone has seen any.

None in person yet, however LEGO has changed the store! http://shop.lego.com...KNIGHTS-ByTheme - Jestro's evil mobile for ÂŁ40 which is a steal for 6 pence per piece and that all the 'retail exclusives' can be bought on the lego store  . They release on 31st of December though :cry_sad: still worth the wait for the great prices.

I saw some Nexo Knights sets at Target, so.... Yeah...

So, I'm working on a dragon for Macy, and I just realized how perfectly the fantasy castle turret piece would work to make a pair of chomping jaws. I'm really hoping LEGO makes use of the knights heraldic symbols a little more in future sets. Giant chicken mecha, anyone?

Hooray for 5000 posts!

Ultimate Flama uses the ghost tail piece in Orange, and has a giant hammer on the back with a knob on the side. Also may or may not come with the new ghost blade in Orange too.

Congrats on the 5K posts. Ultimate Flama sounds amazing.

A little disappointing, but I like it anyways. Any other set details?

Oh, good. The ghost tail is so much more flamey than the snake tail. Perhaps that's just for her Ultimate form, though.

From what i've seen from this, I (in my opinion) think LEGO should have gone for a completely futuristic theme.

Wouldn't that be so cool? Buildings especially would look so nice, in my opinion the futuristic vehicles clash very poorly with the medieval setting.

The setting's not really medieval, though. It's not like the kingdom is built out of stone and wood. Everything's futuristic except the villains' stuff, it's just inspired by medieval imagery. Anyway. a futuristic theme needs some thematic grounding to avoid looking totally generic or baseless.

Hmm, a giant hammer attached to your back - Sure that would work! By the way, the game is seriously hard!

It was hard at first, until I scanned the "Charging Attack" Nexo Power from the Fortrex. Coupled with the "Lava Dragon" and Tractor Beam" Powers (which I upgraded all to Level 5) then each stage was relatively easy after using only Aaron (standing in the corner and shooting is a neat strategy as the monsters lumber slowly towards you) and upgrading all your stats for armor, weapons, etc to at least level 3... :)

After you do this I think you'll find it shouldn't be too difficult... I beat the game's levels already and my team is at Level 33...

Correct, that thematic grounding would be futuristic knights.

The one we have now may as well be time traveling knights from the future for all we know. Not only are the enemies completely medieval, the environment is too.

You know as well as I do, that a theme of futuristic knights in a futuristic setting can be done in a unique way that isn't generic. Heck, if you want I can make up a plot now.

About the app ( ), is it possible to storm through levels without taking any scans from the show?

I'm sure it is, if you;re very, very skilled and use a long-ranged character to dodge attacks. Nexo Powers generally make your life easier and aren't just shoehorned in.

Why you don't want to use them? Even if you don't have any Nexo Knights sets you only need to have two devices and find right moment in video review of any set with nexo power(s). Or if you don't want to cheat - in second episode of Nexo Knights cartoon there is a nexo power for scanning and on theme symbol shield with sword on it is for scanning.

I completely agree. One or the other, not both at the same time.

just2good has written, that 70327 LEGO set is Walmart's exclusive. There is no Walmart in Ukraine. Suddenly, this set is printed in Ukrainian catalog...
