dangerdan88 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 What website is this? Does it have other themes? http://www.sinqel.com/merken/lego/ and http://www.fokkido.com/lego/ They have the same design so they may be sister sites or something. I'm not sure that there is much else for the other themes though. Quote
maginnster27 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Just noticed the Burnzie uses the same torso piece as Sparkks which means that his head mold is probably compatible with a normal minifigure! Quote
Zergos Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I'm loving flama!! Magmar also is intriguing with his mouthpiece without needing a helmet. I'm assuming it'll be like the ultron piece from the superheroes wave. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) I liked Flama being Yellow/Orange, for the diversity it's brought. But Red looks hot as well... Edited January 4, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote

(seen in the App, not sure of the size on Dannallcorn pic) 30$ an other good guy set 40$ villain significant vehicle ala Rumble Blade, maybe the one at the end of the knights video ? 70$ good guy set. A village raid/defense pretty please. Big vehicle after the Fortrex or an other base in the same wave would be strange 120$ volcano base Quote
Takanuinuva Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 How come there is no character page for Infernox? Quote
Exetrius Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Are these nexo powers exclusive? Where is that picture from? I see a trans purple shield inlay!!! As for the new villains, they look FANTASTIC! +1 for TLG to actually produce Whiparalla, our favorite hot naked snake-tailed lava lady Quote
dimaks13 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Where is that picture from? I see a trans purple shield inlay!!! One user on one russian lego forum has posted that. He has written, that these cards were given to him in one shop for nexo knights sets purchase. Edited January 4, 2016 by dimaks13 Quote
Aanchir Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 You know, I hate to keep complaining, but why don't the characters match the show? Even though she looks great, it bugs me how Flama's red with orange gear, but bright flame-orange in the show. Where are the animators basing this? Sometimes the animators have to work with preliminary versions of the characters (for instance, this might be why Pythor's arms in the LEGO Ninjago cartoon are purple while in the set they're black). Other times, the animators like to add "effects" in the show which are not possible in the sets (which is probably why Flama's entire body and the Scurriers' horns glow "red hot" instead of just being regular bright red). You guys keep saying "her" but he has a male chest and a male voice actor and is referred to as him elsewhere. I am I mistaken? All the females have feminine chests so far perhaps Macy is the exception. Quote

All the females have feminine chests so far perhaps Macy is the exception. But look between the lines of the chest rocks. It resembles the typical curves with a bit of muscle. And her eyes are ringed by fire that resembles feminine eyelashes or makeup. Sources have conflicted. Although it could very well be male, I want to think of the character as female. Quote

There have been more sources of TLG referencing Flama as A 'female' so the majority the people ( including myself) Now believe that Flama Is 'Officially' a 'Female' Quote

I think the torso print is fairly ambiguous, and the website has consistently referred to Flama as female every. single. time. (and not just with pronouns, but also nicknaming him/her "miss molten lava" and calling him/her an "overheated lady") Confusing a monster with no obvious sexual characteristics, in a boy-oriented theme, for a woman over and over again doesn't seem like an easy mistake to make. Whereas referring to such a character with male pronouns is a mistake LEGO has definitely made in the past (for instance, in some bios of Breez from LEGO Hero Factory). Maybe she's just a female character with a deeper than usual voice, and the writers of the app got confused? I haven't played the app so I don't know for sure what happened, but presently I feel like there's easily as much evidence for her being female as for being male, if not more. Yeah, there's a lot of evidence that she's female in Lego.com. I would trust that over the app, as listening to Flama's voice again, it's pretty ambiguous. Edited January 4, 2016 by legozebra Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Shame the figures don't have the same level of printing the characters in the show have - especially when that level of detail is regularly included in the collectible minifigs series Quote
Mr Greeble Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Oh. My. God. I'm officially in love with the Nexo Knights theme. These are amazing. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) I think Flama is a girl, because only the girls have dried lava over their chest (unless the characters made up of dried lava like Sparks and Moltar), also does anyone know what the creatures Flama riding name is ? Edited January 4, 2016 by Dr.Cogg Quote
ChristopheQ Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) To be honest, as cool as I think the printing is, I dislike Moltor just for the fact that he doesn't fit in. He's black with orange printing whilst the others are all red. I was kind of hoping one of the Summer monsters would be black and orange as well so he wouldn't look like the odd-one-out... I feel black and orange lava patern are very present witin the vilains. Magmar has the same legs as Moltor for exemple. I prefer Burnzie over Sparkks. His small head without mouth doesn't work for me. Edited January 4, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote
DraikNova Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Flama's design uses a lot more red in the set-like render than in animated depictions, but I actually like that as it helps her feel more consistent in design with the other lava monsters. I also think the transparent shoulder armor adds a lot to her design! Magmar, Whiparella, and Burnzie also look awesome! To be honest, I feel using orange would have helped make the orange Globlins and Moltor stick out a little less. Quote
Boogly22238 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Is Burnzie supposed to be that big red dude that appeared beside Sparkks in the second episode? I need all of these monsters, they are wicked. Edited January 4, 2016 by Boogly22238 Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I'm loving the small globlins, there seems to be three different ones. Quote
