Amazing Bricks Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) I hear some people say that they will like Flama less if it's male, which perfectly shows how so many people are obsessed about gender. This is ridiculous, it shouldn't matter. Let's change the subject, I would definitely expect lance in the cheapest set with a huge globlin build. Edited January 10, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I think you could probably build that group of Globin in the game with 2 of these and a technic pin Quote
Rayskull Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) I think you could probably build that group of Globin in the game with 2 of these and a technic pin But it has a stud connection, as seen by Ultimate Beastmaster....silly me it has both connections. Toth Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Confirmation Flama and Moltor are Twin Brothers. Both males. There is a lot more interesting stuff to discuss about NexoKnight...Right? Edited January 10, 2016 by Toth Quote

I was looking up wave 1 and wave 2 Nexo Knights set, and then I looked at the minifigures. If I got all of the sets that I like, I would have 5 Lances. Quote

Mr Greeble Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Regarding Flama: We have already seen and discussed that photo. Thanks though. Now, can we talk about something else? Like Toth said, there are many more interesting things to talk about. Even better, go out and make some NK mocs! Why are you on the computer? Quote

Rayskull Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 To be honest, I like all the sets, but the ones I like the most happen to include Lance. My favorite sets include Arron, who's my favorite anyway. Going to get Moltor today! Quote
kirkwoodproductions Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Let's try a different topic ... Does anyone know why the Fortrex instructions are the only ones missing from the LEGO website? Quote

Ralphel Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Sorry, but a random wiki that can be edited by anyone is not a good source of evidence to prove this. the wiki probably got the sister description from Lego.com, and as you may have observed in this thread, there's a lot of conflicting sources to that. (the app, other pages in the side, the questionable voice actor gender, etc) seems like Lego already confirm Flama is female btw it's also stated on the Nexo Knights page http://www.lego.com/en-us/nexoknights/characters/flama-9273d0353f5844398ace29a48f2a4580 Description Miss Molten Lava You don’t want to hug this monster. Flama is a molten mass of liquid lava and you would vaporize in just a moment. Usually seen in cohort with her rock brother Mouldron creating havoc somewhere. Together they are the Hot’n’Heavy twins that deliver a 2-for-1 offer on destruction. Quote

So maybe this means Flama was born a male, but now identifies as female. Quote
TomKraut Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Well, the designer has confirmed that Flama is a male. So maybe this means Flama was born a male, but now identifies as female. I like that. 1. it ends the discussion and 2. it gives us our first transgender Lego character. Quote
8BrickMario Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Well, the designer has confirmed that Flama is a male. So maybe this means Flama was born a male, but now identifies as female. That is one way to look at it, but I won't be considering the development of the character as it's technically not canon to the theme. I'll wait for the show to deliver a final verdict on which Flama is. It would be really cool of LEGO to make your theory official, but I don't think they're going to touch on more complicated issues like that. Edited January 10, 2016 by 8BrickMario Quote
DraikNova Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Reasons this discussion is pointless: 1: We've got no idea what the official position is (whether it was changed from Thoth's intention officially or the site description is just a mistake) so far, nor any way to know either way. 2: This belongs in the show (and story) discussion topic. Backgild Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 At the risk of distracting from the Flama discussion, I have a quick question that perhaps someone here can help me with. The Brickset/official Lego databases aren't fully updated, so I can't tell if Aaron is the traditional green or bright green. Also, how do the new helmet molds look with a city/space visor? I'm typically a space/Star Wars collector, but I really like the looks of this theme, but I'm still a bit on the fence. If the helmets can be used with my exo-suit astronauts I'll have to at least pick up a set with Aaron. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Right. This can all be done now please. It honestly does not matter at all, it in fact sounds like a bunch of six year-olds arguing. It is a minifigure in a set, once the show (that is not something we discuss in this thread, but in the show thread.) gets to the character something might be confirmed. As this thread is about the sets and the supposed gender of a plastic figure has been discussed to death, we can please move on. Thanks Quote

Backgild Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Aaron is the traditional green. I took some photos for you, sorry for the bad quality. Thanks for the pics, that looks fantastic. It wouldn't surprise me if Mark Stafford was responsible for the design of this piece. I'm definitely going to have to pick up at least one set with Aaron, but I'm hoping that the helmet shows up in bricks and pieces, and that will probably be just the start with this theme.
