Rayskull Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I would also like to say thanks for sharing the pic of the Thunder Mace. Looks like a futuristic-style chopper. Gimmick is definitely the stud-gatling guns on (I assume) either side. The model itself looks okay for what it is (i.e. a lower price point set). Several sets in this theme have exposed technic beams and I don't really mind that. This is a USD$20 set and this build looks to have around 150 pieces or so in it so hopefully, they do include some kind of vehicle or build for the lava faction in the set and not just a minifig. I would assume that one of the new villian figs would be included in this set. If you end up only getting this build and 2 minifigs then, yeah, I agree it falls short on the value front. I would imagine though that this set will include Macy's Squire-Bot. Aaron's vehicle in this wave is (I believe) a larger, more fleshed out version of his "vehicle" in the fortrex set, that being a crossbow shaped flyer. His vehicle in Fortrex does have a name (can't recall it right now), but it is certainly pushing it to call that build a vehicle. I think the summer wave set will be much larger flyer based on the Fortrex model. I'm thinking a flying version of the Blade Cruiser with the crossbow forming the middle part of it. Where did you get that info? 70318 The Globlin Thrower ~$10 ...Is this supposed to have the single large Globlin? 70319 Macy’s Thunder Club ~$20 ...I like this, don't really care about the details, I dig it. 70320 Aaron’s Aero-Hunter ~$35... Bigger than Lance's Bike but Smaller than Clay's hrmmm... 70321 General Magmar’s Siege Machine ~$40 ...I like the baddies but I'll have to see (plus I can get Magmar in an Ultimate :D 70322 Axl’s Mobile Tower ~$80 ....Very interested in this, I hope its a miniature Fortrex 70323 Jestro’s Volcano Base ~$130 ...Probably not for me, cant wait to see it anyway. Photo credit toTheBrickMan01. Dunno if this is a new pic, but yeah, there's that set! Guys that giant grey wedge on the front looks very interesting :) Quote
BrickFit26 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Jester's Volcano Base for $130 I hope it delivers though. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Jester's Volcano Base for $130 I hope it delivers though. If I am not wrong, the dutch source said 116,99 euros, so probably 120$, the typical price point for big action (winter) sets. Edited January 12, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote
NotMegalodon Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 If I am not wrong, the dutch source said 116,99 euros, so probably 120$, the typical price point for big action (winter) sets. The Dutch source did have a discount, but Dutch prices are ofter higher than German (even though both use the €). So it could very well be 110 or 100€ in Germany, making it probably 100 or 110$. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Huh. Indeed they did. Prelim pics have historically shown up in waves so yeah, we should get prelims for Nexo Knights and other themes in the next few days/week or so. I'm sure with the Star Wars images having shown up that E.B. members (spies ) are on the look out for images. And when the prelim images wil surface on the internet, you will obviously not post them here as it is against Eurobricks guidelines. Obviously... Quote

If the Fortrex cost 100$, with 4 figs... a 7 figs castle should be significantly higher J2G claims that Jestro's Volcano Base includes a black and red Jestro, Lavaria, 3 other baddies, Axl, and Lance. Quote
DraikNova Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The fact that Jestro is apparently a larger figure (either constructed or bigfig) and Axl is larger than a normal figure kind of emphasizes that. Although I'd like to note that Fortrex technically includes 7 figures, since 3 other baddies could mean that Jestro's Volcano Base includes three Scurriers. Quote

NotMegalodon Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) If the Fortrex cost 100$, with 4 figs... a 7 figs castle should be significantly higher Well, that also depends on the brickcount. Although I'd like to note that Fortrex technically includes 7 figures, since 3 other baddies could mean that Jestro's Volcano Base includes three Scurriers. Good point. And who knows, i might be wrong, i did some math: This was the website: http://www.fokkido.com/search/nexo/ They have a 10% discount on all Nexo Knights, so 116,90 at 90% makes a 130€ set at MSRP. The Fortrex is 110€, the Vulcano Base 130€ (in The Netherlands). US$ the Fortrex is 100, so i'm guessing you're right all along, the Vulcano is probably 120$ Edited January 12, 2016 by NotMegalodon Quote
ChristopheQ Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Well, that also depends on the brickcount. True but a volcano base smaller than the 1140 pieces (including lots of studs) Fortrex (9” (25cm) high, 8” (21cm) wide and 9” (24cm) deep) would be disapointing... I am still hoping for a 1200+ pieces sets. (2015 Bounty is 1253 pieces, 120$, with 9 minifigs, and 2 minions as some of you like to add those to the total ...). Quote
TPLSTER21 Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Where did you get that info? Just speculation on my part based on the sets that have been released and the picture of the Thunder Mace. And when the prelim images wil surface on the internet, you will obviously not post them here as it is against Eurobricks guidelines. Obviously... I do not wish to violate any Eurobricks policies or get in trouble with Mods! In any case, I have no access to prelims. Quote
x105Black Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The fact that Jestro is apparently a larger figure (either constructed or bigfig) Is that true? What a let down. Quote
Chilly_Productions Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I was gonna take a better picture of what I think is Jestro's Lava Base, but there were complications and now I have to wait until tomorrow. My LEGO order (Merlok's Library 2.0 and 3 Bionicle sets) has arrived! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I believe the Jestro lava base is $120. Quote
Junior Shark Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Are the new Nexo Power pieces stickered, or are they printed? Quote
8BrickMario Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) Are the new Nexo Power pieces stickered, or are they printed? All are printed, but some of the shield pieces in the sets use stickers and are not Nexo Powers. Edited January 12, 2016 by 8BrickMario Quote

CM4Sci Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) I knew it was too good to be true. All I got today was a small envelope with the Intro Pack on my front porch. So much for a '5.5lbs package' Couldn't just put it in my mailbox? Way to ruin my excitement. Fortrex should be here tomorrow. EDIT: Never mind, not tomorrow! They just changed the arrival date and I won't be home this weekend. Edited January 12, 2016 by CM4Sci Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 How are the arms of the little red thingies connected to the body? Quote
Aanchir Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) How are the arms of the little red thingies connected to the body? The scurriers, you mean? I think their arms attach the same way as regular minifigure arms or Power Miners rock monster arms. I could be wrong, though. Edited January 13, 2016 by Aanchir Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 How are the arms of the little red thingies connected to the body? The end have lights saber blade-wide knobs so a minifigure can hold them I believe Quote
NotMegalodon Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I believe these are the correct English names. Aaron already had the Aero-Striker V1 in the Fortrex. And it's Thunder Mace instead of Club, but most people here already noticed. 70319 Macy’s Thunder Mace 70320 Aaron’s Aero-Striker V2 Quote

Lyichir Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Interesting. Supports possibility that Arron's Aero vehicle will be Fortrex compatible "V2" Hm, potentially... though I was kind of hoping for a bigger flying crossbow vehicle, and it could only get but so big and still fit on the Fortrex. Do we know the price of those two sets? Quote
