It's a Walmart exclusive in the U.S.

And only one part about it sucks: there is not nearly enough friction on the left shoulder joint to keep up the shield flyer thing with the robot. Is that a known issue?

And after launching it? It might be a calculated 'issue', because it's meant for play not for display?

Eh, I'm just going to buy it for parts and the King. The small size of the shield bothers me too much for me to keep it the way it is. I might end up making a tower shield (possibly with fake shock absorbers) for it, though.

This might seem a little off-topic...but what the hell :tongue: So I'm tempted to buy Jestro's Evil Mobile and I would like to hear those of you who bought it to tell me your opinion if it's worth buying it.

I don't actually own it, but I have taken a good look at a display of it. It's rather moderate in size, and it isn't a very substantial rolling fortress. However, some of the built in features are really well done. The way the jaw is built so that it can chomp up and down is really ingenious. The rising/lowering tower access is also quite functional as well. While if I had to choose between it and the Fortrex, I'd more that likely go for the Fortrex, but that's just me.

With the mixed opinions I've seen, I think we might have another Garmatron on our hands.

My favorite part of the set are the hover horse (superb build, white best color), the book, and the Minifigs. Some people love the golem and the originality of the chariot. I am rather neutral. For the value, IMHO you will got more by picking Infernox or Lava Smasher and Chaos Chariot.

Yea I also have mixed opinions about it,the chariot itself doesn't really hit the spot but the minifigs(golem included) look good.But I might as well concider buying Clay's Rumble Blade since,in my opinion,is the best looking set thus far.

One thing I really hope we get in 2017 is larger creatures and vehicles for the evil side. So far, the Knights seem like they could easily overpower Jestro's forces.

The Evil Mobile, in my opinion, looks ridiculous. I'm not big on the golems, or the overdone jester motif, or the chomping mechanism. If these things (and the abundance of trans orange) don't bother you, there's a chance you might enjoy it. For what it's worth, I do think that this set has 2 of the best minifigures in the theme. That said, I don't think the set is worth the price.

I might as well wait for Jestro's Volcano Base since one of my main drawns to the set (I mean the Evil Mobile) is Jestro himself but anyway thanks for your opinions guys.I'm considering buying Clay's Rumble Blade because personally not only,as I mentioned previously,is one of the best looking sets we got thus far from NK it's also a great set for show casing.

From what I understand, Jestro will not appear as a minifigure (or at least he will be significantly different) in the Volcano Base set.

Yeah I think it was amazingbricks(did I spell the name correctly??) that said that Jestro will have a black and red oufit this time around,which is fine by me.

I also heard he may be a golem-styled character or bigfig a few pages back, but I'm not sure if that's confirmed.

It has been hinted/suggested that the Jestro in the volcano base set will be quite different from the minifig in the Evil Mobile and may not even be a minifig at all (Big Fig/Brick Built).

In any case, we could get some set details/descriptions from the London Toy Fair this weekend which shed some light on this. There is also the possibility of some leaked images like we have received with other themes.

I'm making a dragon for Macy. What sort of wings do you think would be most appropriate?

1: Jet plane wings.

2: Sort of tr. neon hover wings.

3: Mechanized "classic" dragon wings

4: Helicopter-style rotors.

Also, do you think VTOL engines would be a nice addition?

Of those choices, I'd choose 3. Closest to an actual dragon.

4. -> I Think it fits best with the Nexo Knights theme.

So i've been looking at the Nexo Powers... Some are available in two sets, doubles are:

Phoenix Blade is in Clay's Rumble Blade and Ultimate Macy;

Chicken Power is in the Fortrex and Ultimate Robin;

Lava Dragon is in Infernox Captures The Queen and Ultimate Clay;

Storm Dragon is in The King's Mech and Ultimate Ultimate Robin.

So Ultimate Robin has only one exclusive Nexo Power (at this point) .

I'm asking myself why? They've got 108 Nexo Powers already, who knows, they might even add more. Why give an Ultimate duplicates?

Ultimates are (imho) at a premium price point, because of the Nexo Powers. They are the only sets under 45€ (Clay's Rumble Blade), who have 3 powers.

Clay blade look really nice "in reality", not only in picture. Well balanced, good look.

For the evil mobile, one thing I didn't mention, it's huge. Very imposing. Kind of 70% of a Fortrex..

I think it depends if you want to fit within the existing NK sets or look good. Playability or design ? Vaguely similar shape to a dragon or sleek Ninjago style dragon ? If you choose the first option, for rotors, you may consider for inspiration Lavertus twin blade or Hurricane heist.

Or even reactor, exhaust and missile on the wings ? A jet/spaceship with a dragon head and legs...

For claws : this, for fangs that ?

or a smaller dragon with miniwings ?

I can draw something for you, just like my ideas or somethin'. If you want. A mace tail would be one of my additions.

Also, any other owners of Fortrex, what is the little rocket end piece next to the oven/soda machine supposed to do? Why is it there?

After looking at that section for a while in mine i decided it was a sort of stove, a place for the Chef's saucepan to sit

Oh, I've already designed most of the dragon. Since it's supposed to be for Macy, I already gave it mace tail and the design is fairly bulky, and with a sort of trash compactor jaw made from castle turret pieces.

I'm trying to hit the balance of playability and aesthetics that the Fortrex has and trying to make it fit into the existing sets. To help support it's bulk, I'm using Mixel joints as claws as a compromise between posability and practicality. Edited by DraikNova

When's the London Toy Fair? Sunday?

I really hope that Brickset comes through with descriptions of the sets, but I'm apprehensive that the NK sets will even be there considering that we barely know anything about them. :look:

We know their names and numbers, which is more than we know for, say, Elves. I would be very surprised if the summer Nexo Knights sets AREN'T at all the major Toy Fairs, considering that it's Lego's "Big Bang" theme for this year (and as such, the summer sets will probably be hot Christmas items).

London Toy Fair starts on Sunday. Brickset and 1-2 other UK Lego sites are always given invitations to attend. There is a 100% chance that Nexo Knights sets will be at this Toy Fair including the summer wave sets given their "Big Bang" status as Lyichir mentioned above.

In the past, Brickset tended to provide the most detailed descriptions, but a lot of how much description was given depended on how much personal interest the Brickset reps had in the themes. For example, up until last year they paid almost no attention whatsoever to Ninjago because they didn't like the theme. However, to their credit, when their community complained about the lack of coverage, they provided decent descriptions of the sets last year. I imagine that KN will get decent coverage given it's status and the fact that the guys at Brickset do seem to like the theme overall!

I would look for a brief overview of the sets with perhaps 1-2 details about each one. Good thing is, with more than 1 site in attendance, you can get multiple descriptions. What the websites all say though is that they are basically given a "guided tour" through Lego's booth accompanied by a Lego rep and that they only have a limited amount of time to look at each theme which makes taking detailed notes challenging.

So, yeah, we will know more by I guess Monday. But Nuremberg Toy Fair starts I believe next Wednesday or Thursday and they allow photography. Usually a couple of clips will show up on YouTube so we will definitely see them by next weekend.

So, I've been lurking for a time now and finally got the time to sign up!

Anyway I would like to give you a small review about the complete Nexo Knights Line-up Wave 1. I should mention that I mostly buy Lego for displaying reasons and not playing!

I really like all the evil stuff from this theme. I think the War Chariot and Jestro's Evil Mobile are (now) the best in this set. However the monster in front of the Evil Mobile is a bit short in comparison with Infernox (which you can also use as a monster in front of the Mobile). All the other evil sets are good imo.

What I really dislike is the horse form of the Mecha Horse. It's so.. I don't know what to say haha. The bike form is much better, but doesn't fit the theme well enough for me to display it like the bike. The horse gives the whole theme a better look overall. Hoverhorses are obv the best. I like the fact that you can combine sets (Fortrex and Merlok Library for example). It gives the set a nicer look to it.

I on the other hand like the fact that you don't get many minifigures in a set. It gives more value to the ones in more expensive sets, but I can understand why people have a need for more standard figures in cheaper sets.

Well anyway, this was my first post XD Hope you like the picture!
