ChristopheQ Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) Errr..... is that one of the underwater guys? He doesn't fit with the Plant guys for sure. But he fits with the black knight. IF one of these vilains factions were made into figs (not certain at all with stickers books), I would still prefere the plants guy. More different from the 2016 lava guys. Ookami Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) More from sticker book: https://plus.google.com/photos/100450843599231100559/album/6247824511758803329/6247824509906691602?authkey=CImR2t3Sk9_aOA&sqid=102077775541074216573&ssid=3d2dae96-82e8-43fe-95bc-6b2157d8e9d4 Wow, they look really weird, but still very interesting to me - looking forward to get some shroom hats, if the next theme is going to be swamp Edited February 5, 2016 by Ookami Quote
x105Black Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 That guy looks like a decent Dark Elf, and definitely better than most of the Nexo Knights minifigures currently seen. I'd love to see him in a more traditional Castle theme. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) Could you provide a clear picture of the battle station and the real lego parts, please? I'm contemplating buying something at S@H, so I'd like to see if this is a good bonus. real lego parts are not much, but the Merlok sticker and neon orange parts is nice if you don't have the Fortrex, and the red shield with a whip looks good (will be very fiting to whiparella). DraikNova Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 He (assuming this character is male) has a fork for a hand and what appear to be bat wings for ears. Seems a little dark and boring though, compared to other character designs. Quote
x105Black Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 The fact he is a chef is kind of boring, even if he does have a fork for a hand, but otherwise I love the design. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Damn, I love the design of that Chef as well. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 That chef is weird, I don't see him being made anytime soon. The plant minfigures look amazing, can't wait for them. Quote

The Chef is very cool: I like him almost as much as the design of the black knight in this picture: It would be a shame not to get them. Maybe there will be a dark knight subtheme as well as a plant monster subtheme? I'm really looking forward to the Mushlord, but would love these 2 as well. These 3 would definitely get me more excited about Nexo Knights as a theme. They are the 3 best looking Nexo Knights figures I've seen. Edited February 6, 2016 by x105Black Quote
Ookami Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 The ears of the fork-handed guy mostly look like finns Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) The ears of the fork-handed guy mostly look like finns yes, the black guys have some aquatic vibes (with their dark elves inspiration, fishy skin colors, pirates details...). A sea-beast masters faction would be nice... Edited February 6, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote

Thank you! That character from the sticker book is awesome! If they go the sea monster route, they should do a NEXO-Viking ship or a NEXO-submarine! Quote
x105Black Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I guess I could see how these dark knight characters look like they're from an underwater subtheme. At least the Chef, he looks more like a zombie fish pirate. The Knight doesn't match that quite as much from that image, but I suppose I could see it. But if this is the case, I'm slightly less jazzed about them. Quote

8BrickMario Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I have to say, fork-hand somehow seems incredibly generic to me. It helps that you can't even pin down a theme he belongs to. Quote

I think that's the nature of Nexo Knights. Are the heroes Castle or Space? Are the Lava villains solid or liquid? As for these sticker book guys, they could be Black Knight Pirate Dark Elf Sea Monsters. Kind of an interesting concept, actually, but I'd still prefer awesome black knights or dark elves. Ookami Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 What if we get some kind of Lovecraft's Cthulhu-likish monsters from deep sea and their minions being dark knights of the ocean - sounds crazy, but why not? Quote
Mr Greeble Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Now I wanna make a dark knight-pirate ship. Quote

Cthulhu would be cool to see. I'm not saying I don't like the idea of ocean dwelling dark elf pirate knight monsters, I'm just saying I'm more fond of dark knights and dark elves in general. What you're suggesting actually does sound like a pretty cool idea. Quote
Borex Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 If they look like that they will look a bit like the atlanteans from marvel. Need to get me a Namor. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 (edited) The dark guy being so dark/black doesn't make me optimistic on TLG producing them in that form. I am afraid they would need to be at least as colored as the ghost in Ninjago Possession. Some purple, dark blue, some lighter sand colors for the contrast, a transparent color for the vehicles and weapons etc... Edited February 6, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote

Anyways, the skin looks to be sand blue on the Chef's arms. Edited February 6, 2016 by x105Black Quote
