Ardelon Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Thanks to all those that posted pics from the BoM. But count me among those skeptical that they would reveal the villains for the next year or two this early - if the plant monsters are for 2017 and the water monsters for 2018 (unless they would be both compressed into one year), thats like revealing the villains for the entire three years the theme is supposed to exist! In any case, when can we expect confirmation/refutation that plant monsters are really coming? Sometime around SDCC? Edited February 14, 2016 by Ardelon Quote
NotMegalodon Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I think the plant and water monsters are for one year (maybe split in two waves?). And if not, and the Book Of Monsters indeed reveals 3 years of monsters, it still doesn't reveal a lot about the sets. Or the different armors the knights will have. Also, it would make sense that LEGO planned all this at least two years in advance, probably three. After that they'll continue the theme if it's succesful, following up on the most succesful stuff of the theme. Quote
DraikNova Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I just downloaded the app. It's really nice, all things considered. Aaron is a little difficult to use effectively though, since the attack system isn't really made for ranged weaponry. Quote
Lyichir Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 I just downloaded the app. It's really nice, all things considered. Aaron is a little difficult to use effectively though, since the attack system isn't really made for ranged weaponry. This isn't really the place for app discussion, which has its own topic in media discussion. But in my experience, Aaron is one of the most useful characters despite being a little hard to use. The main reason is that very few enemies have ranged attacks, and the ones that do typically have a long wait between attacks, meaning that he can usually do a fair amount of damage without getting hurt himself. It's a good strategy to start battles with Aaron and use regular attacks (NOT charged attacks) to quickly charge up your Nexo Powers during the first wave of enemies, so that they'll be available for other characters to use in the second and third waves as a defensive option. And since Aaron is the only character who can use that strategy, you'll want to prioritize his upgrades, particularly since his crossbow is the weakest of the basic weapons by default. Lance is also not bad—the range of his weapon is handy for keeping a little distance between you and the enemies, and is more powerful than Aaron's crossbow. But it's much easier to get swarmed by enemies with Lance if you aren't careful, which is why it's nice to have a few Nexo Powers charged up in advance. Quote
BrickJagger Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 ^ Yet another reason why Aaron is far and away the best Nexo Knight. Quote

Lance easily hits multiple foes at a time, while Macy has the knockout ability. Both work really well for me. Quote
DraikNova Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 For 2017, I'm hoping we get a tr. purple Ultimate version of Ava, possibly with a new mold for the tablet rather than a shield. And hopefully we'll get the Knights' emblems as inlays then too. Quote

DraikNova Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 According to Bzpower, the exclusive is the Black Knight's mech. Didn't see that one coming. Quote
NotMegalodon Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 According to Bzpower, the exclusive is the Black Knight's mech. Didn't see that one coming. It's looks to be pretty big if you compare it with the King's Mech: 70326 The Black Knight Mech 530 pieces. Age 8+ $39.99 (USD) $49.99 (CAD) Available in August We weren't able to get pictures of this set or it wasn't on display. 70327 The King's Mech 375 pieces. Age 8+ $29.99 (USD) $39.99 (CAD) Available in January We weren't able to get pictures of this set or it wasn't on display. Quote
DraikNova Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Hopefully, it includes Whiparella and maybe a few Spider Globlins. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) According to Bzpower, the exclusive is the Black Knight's mech. Didn't see that one coming. With whiparella probably. It would make her the only lieutenant not in a vilain sets. Normaly we got grunts with good guys. But i guess her tail make her unable to fit in a vehicle. Amazing Bricks Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) This is what I'm expecting: Huge black mech Small cannon for the baddies Whiperella, an exclusive variant of robin, ash attacker, and Aaron. Edited February 15, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
BrickJagger Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 We can expect whiperella, an exclusive variant of robin, ash attacker, and Aaron. That's all I'm expecting. I don't mind that! The exclusive sounds excellent. Even bigger then the King's Mech! Hopefully the baddies get a small vehicle as well, they seem to be lacking in the second wave. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) This is what I'm expecting: Huge black mech Small cannon for the baddies Whiperella, an exclusive variant of robin, ash attacker, and Aaron. 4 figs and 530 pieces for 40$ ? You are expecting a lot for NK, if you compare it to the Blade (367 pieces for 40$)... maybe one or two figs less (but maybe with a bot or a minion ?) The only other sets with 4 figs is the Fortrex Infernox has 2 figs, king mech 2 figs and a bots Edited February 15, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote

BrickJagger Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Deal !! An exclusive black scurrier will do it It wouldn't be exclusive..... I'll predict- Crust Smasher, Lavaria, two spider Globlins, Robin and Lance. Small flyer for Crust Smasher, Big Mech for Robin. Lance and Lavaria fight on foot (Or tail ) 530 pieces is pretty generous for $40, and I suspect that not all of those will be used on the mech. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 It wouldn't be exclusive..... Like the red scurriers have 3 prints, i would love 2 different prints for the black one 530 pieces is pretty generous for $40, and I suspect that not all of those will be used on the mech. I would love a civilian and his small building/wagon Quote

Lance and Lavaria fight on foot (Or tail ) I would be surprised if we get robin and a knight. Cf the 5 knights vehicles. Plus it will make the fight even more unfair. My optmistic guess : whipi, robin, a grunt actionning a shooter and a farmer bot. Edited February 15, 2016 by ChristopheQ Quote
BrickFit26 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 The Siege Machine of Doom is just Love how it looks folded down into a tank too. Quote
Robert8 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Black Knight Mech, huh? It sounds interesting, but I don't think it will have Whiperella The main villains come in their own sets, not in the Knights sets Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 (edited) Flama and Burnzie are good examples of coming in other main characters sets. We'll get whiparella for sure. Since she's female, I don't think they'll give her, her own named set. Edited February 16, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote

But anyway, he comes in a villain set, not a Knight one. About Burnzie, he is a brick built character, and I was thinking about minifigures but yeah Edited February 16, 2016 by Robert8 Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I get your point, but whiparella has to be in that set no matter what. It'd be interesting if she wasn't in any set, we would never get her and they showed her on the website bios for no reason. Quote
