BrickJagger Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 You're the best Sci. These packs, especially the Knighton one, will be great for building up both armies, which are pretty small as it stands. Unfortunately the lava guys are combos of different types of monster instead of just a bunch of Crust Smashers and Ash Attackers. That's going to be annoying because I like my armies uniform. Quote

BrickJagger Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 So apparently the middle part of Aaron's Crossbow Thingy detaches as some sort of escape pod. Pretty neat. Quote
Robert8 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 The lava guys battlepack totally needed a scurrier but those look cool anyway Quote
LegoFjotten Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Nice battlepacks, did not expect those! Quote
CM4Sci Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 (Checks in on topic after being away) -Blink blink- Did somebody hack x105Blacks profile? Oh, looks like we took the joke too far. Darn, I never got to make him a Nexo version of his icon. No joke, I was gonna do that. So apparently the middle part of Aaron's Crossbow Thingy detaches as some sort of escape pod. Pretty neat. Awesome! Did not expect that. Quote
Lyichir Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Those battle packs are great. I'll probably end up getting the Knighton one so that I don't have to pick up any of the $10 sets that include the Royal Soldiers. Quote
Sorrelon Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) I'm dissapointed that there aren't any shields in those battlepacks, but I'll be sure to get a few of the lava monsters battlepack anyway. Although, I do hope they won't be made of Chinese plastic, like Pirates and Castle battlepacks and City minifigurepacks(?). Some of the helmets didn't even stay on the heads of soldiers from the 2013 Castle battlepacks, and one of the police minifigurepack from City had a broken suitcase piece and a dog with only 3 feet The lava guys battlepack totally needed a scurrier but those look cool anyway Oh please not! To be honest, those scurriers are the only designs I couldn't bring myself to like. So, since I'm planning to use lava monsters in fantasy mocs, that evil guys battlepack is a must have! By the way, did they confirm the mushroom monsters from the sticker book as the next evil faction? I wonder if they'll have a connection with Jestro. If not, I think a battle between 3 different factions might be much more interesting than having new evil guys teaming up with old evil guys. Besides, I don't think lava and plants/mushrooms really suit each other anyway Edited March 21, 2016 by Sorrelon Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I don't think there has been any solid evidence on what the next wave of sets will be. The book of monsters etc may have some hints, or it is just some fun extras thrown in. Quote
NotMegalodon Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Army builder packs! Offical names: 853515 Accessory Set Good Guys 853516 Monsters Army Building Set omg omg omg *fangirl scream* yes! Now there's only a pack of scurriers left to be desired! Quote

Member titles are assigned by Eurobricks staff, sometimes as pranks. There's a whole topic of past member titles in the Community subforum. Those army builder packs are pretty cool! Quote
DraikNova Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Too bad I already got that Nexo Power in the battle pack. Also too bad: no globlins in the lava monster battle pack. Really, I really want there to be a $10 set that is just as many globlins as they could pack into a set, maybe with a Squirebot and a Scurrier thrown in. I mean, I figure they could fit 80 globlins in a 10 euro set with that set up, and it'd instantly compensate for the disparity between the in-show and the in-set makeup of Jestro's forces. I'd probably buy two or three of them. Edited March 21, 2016 by DraikNova Quote
HawkLord Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Those battlepacks are pretty good. Very smart of Lego to stop those this early in the line. Lots of good Castle/Fantasy/LOTR material there on the monster side. Quote
dannallcorn Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Im loving Aarons flyer more now plus those army builders are really cool. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 That Lava one is must have for sure! Quote
Exetrius Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 That's a fantastic army pack (the Nocty one, obviously! )! Definately getting one! I'm actually glad that no scurrier is included, given that a full minifig provides more pieces for fig-MOCing. But I agree, a shield (even a plain one) would have been nice. The mohawk guy has a new torso and new legs, right? Quote

NotMegalodon Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Any word on connectability in the summer wave? Like the Fortrex/Library combo? Maybe Macy's flyer (Volcano Lair) with some other vehicle? Quote
BrickFit26 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Ultimate Flama, Axl, & Clay And Axl's hover horse The battle packs are cool. Btw, x105Black's posts made my day haha. I wonder, when we finally get pictures of the Black Knight's mech - can't wait for it Im waiting for those pictures too. Quote
BrickJagger Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 Amazon is literally swarming with new NK books, including one with a minifig: http://www.amazon.com/Activity-Book-Minifigure-Lego-Knights/dp/133803801X/ref=sr_1_67?ie=UTF8&qid=1458611013&sr=8-67&keywords=nexo+knights Quote

That is the question there. I'm not sure though, was the earlier book also initially listed in a similar way? Quote

The earlier book was indeed listed like that. Personally, though, I don't know if I'd expect this book to include another squirebot, if only because in the past when there have been two activity books per year in themes like Ninjago, they've often been split between the heroes and villains. So it might be more likely that this book would include a generic lava monster fig instead. Quote
