I know she wasn't in it for very long, but I hope we get Queen Halbert in her armor. Maybe as a polybag or something. I think that would be cool

Get in line.

So they are taking a sharper turn towards fantasy then. Thats good. Some of the bad guys have nice equipment, especially the sword of Mate Squiddybeard and the axe of the guy in the 4th pic (?????? de Seaweed) look promising.

I don't know why people are assuming that these new factions will be any more "traditional fantasy" than the current sets even if they ARE the focus of future sets. After all, it's not like the lava monster faction has that many futuristic motifs either—what technology they do have is mostly limited to their vehicles rather than being evident on the figs themselves or their weapons. In all likelihood the forest and water monsters will also be accompanied by their own thematically-similar vehicles. And as for the Nexo Knights themselves, I haven't seen anything that'd indicate that they'd become any less tech-enhanced.

Technology is limited to their vehicles and not evident on their weapons? Haven't you seen any of the Ultimate sets for evil guys? I wouldn't exactly call things like backpack mounted helicopter or a rotating dual fireblade machine non-technological. Given the artwork we've seen so far, I'm guessing their vehicles, weapons, armor and structures will contain a lot less tech, if any. I think they might have more of a traditional fantasy look, or perhaps Lego might try something new and make everything they have organic, including weapons, buildings and even weapons, similar to the Zerg race from Starcraft. There already is a mushroom sword, a giant water behemoth (a portable base like Fortrex perhaps?) and sentient trees (a living watchtower anyone?), so I wouldn't call that idea too far fetched.

I wonder if they are allied to Jestro and his lava monsters, or a third faction which is enemies with both of the other factions?

The Ultimate sets are a special case—that added equipment goes way beyond simple "armor", and doesn't even affect the actual design of the fig (as far as printing and designated armor pieces are concerned). Besides, none of the lava monster characters in the Book of Monsters are pictured in their "ultimate" forms either, so the fact that the forest and sea monsters don't have that sort of equipment in the pictures is certainly no guarantee that they won't be similarly outfitted in some of the sets as well.

As far as vehicles are concerned, we also have no reason to believe that they'd be any more organic than this year's vehicles, which themselves are already fairly organic compared to the vehicles of the knights (with heavy stone, metal, and lava motifs and only a few obvious hallmarks of technology like control panels)—and it's worth mentioning that even the artwork of those lava monster vehicles in the Book of Monsters is heavily stylized to make them look significantly more crude and organic than the actual sets.

The other monsters in the book are summonable by the Book of Monsters just like the lava monsters, so unless they somehow rebel or Jestro turns good again, then they will most likely be allied with Jestro.

I suppose one could use the Kings armor(which I haven't seen him wear in the show) which resembles the armor that the queen wears in the show. That would give the illusion of the figure, minus the helmet.

Very unexpected inclusion in the black knight mech set, the mech has nadakhan's hair piece at the top. Didn't notice that until now. I also just saw the hover dead bull build and it looks amazing physically. That's a far better build than the mech.

So i finally got the Fortrex (as one of the few sets of the first wave i didn't have yet).

Anyone here that got it motorized? I'm thinking about making it an RC Fortrex

SBrick shared a

of it motorized and controlled remotely, but I don't think they've shared specific instructions for how they went about doing so.

That's pretty sweet

Exactly. I want that!
