kc2dc Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 So we finally finished the baseball stadium! I think it turned out nice and will be placing it in the city soon. It is called Lego Field which is home to the Lego City Stackers. The visiting team is the Brickville Clutchers. Luckily we have a few lego stores in the DC area and they have had the players jerseys and hats in the bins. The stadium has ticket booths, concessions etc. The footprint of the stadium is much larger than it looks in the photos, so I think it will be a great addition to our lego city. Thoughts? Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 That's pretty AWESOME looking 'kc2dc'.......the outfield does look a little small, I bet a lot of home runs get scored. Brick On & Play Ball 'kc2dc' ! Quote

Brick On & Play Ball 'kc2dc' ! Yes, a bunt is a home run in lego city . The stadium is huge. It on a large 48x48 wrapped with four more half plates. No way to make it any bigger, although, I do agree, the outfield is a bit small. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I know what you mean be MOC's being huge......many of mine extend even past what you have there. What's next 'kc2dc' ? Quote

You must have more room. I'm maxed out, using a full bedroom. Nothing major in the works, just some tweaking to get the stadium to fit and make sense. Between the stadium, the police station and the new detective modular, I'm tapped out for a while! Quote
Only Sinner Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Now, I really like what you've done here. Even with the size constraints, you made a full on stadium! The raised field to allow for real dugouts is brilliant, and the whole place is busy with all the fans. Man, I just love going to baseball games. Quote
AFOLguy1970 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Take me out to the ball game! This is very nice, and you did a great job using limited space to add a lot of detail and fun features. Quote
snowdogs Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 This is pretty amazing! The detail is incredible. You thought of everything: the hot dog vendor, the fans with gloves, the announcer's booth. Love the guy with snacks coming down the aisle. I'm just putting my city together but would love to include something like this one day. This is really cool! Quote
Ex cinno Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 In your Moc everything has been put in the right place and this creates a great atmosphere. Only a question: may be that your catcher is left handed? Quote

Ex cinno Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Nothing, I was right then, even though I am a football player... Quote
kc2dc Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) In case anybody is interested. Here is a video of the stadium my son did. I don't do videos haha I don't know how to embed it. Edited January 31, 2015 by kc2dc Quote
kc2dc Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 I finally go the stadium into the city. Here are some pics. I think it turned out okay considering this was the ONLY place the stadium could go. I guess it's in sort of an industrial area, but it's close to transit and the airport! Bonus pics of entire city Quote
Back to the Brick Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Thank you for the pics, it's a very nice city! Quote
